DO NOT BUY. A SCAM.
MilanoCard makes travel more expensive and not worth the hassle of buying one.
The ‘free drink’ they claim to offer is only claimable at a specific restaurant (GUD City Life Milan) and when we went to it, it had been closed for months.
They DO NOT issue refunds and contacting them is very difficult. There are multiple email addresses and they do not reply in a reasonable amount of time.
If you are a student - DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY. All the ‘discounts’ they claim to offer that come with buying MilanoCard are equivalent to the student price at most museums.
Just buy a 1 day public transportation ticket.
AVOID AVOID AVOID MILANOCARD!!!
Not worth it for young people
Just buy a public transport ticket for half the price. All the attraction discounts are the same as what places will charge university students/youth, so you’re essentially paying double for a day ticket, which you’re able to get at any machine in the city.
Also makes you go and pick it up physically, which is never mentioned when you buy it, and only in one specific place, with confusing instructions.
Also also, the advertised free drink is actually only a Prosecco, and only at one specific place, which is currently closed for winter. So, the free drink is impossible to receive.
Feel pretty ripped off.
