Not a good keyboard for someone who can't speak English well. The Amharic keyboard is not clickable. Also the SMS feature does not work properly. Disappointing and waste of my money.

The app. Is not compatible with messenger , FB, and Twitter. The app. Does not allow to send info as a text or image. I have friends who use Japanise, Korean and Chinese character . And work perfect for them. This app had long way to go. Waste of money and garbage or useless for now.

It's awesome and u hope if it could even be batter on the next update.

Every this is very good but one problem need answer.... Did both party must have iTypeAmharic software to see Amharic characters.. Or in other word it must be send by iTypeAmharic send button and revived and opened by iTypeAmharic software to seen Amharic character... Without this info buy in ur own risk..

The idea is good. But I can only send the letters as an image but the problem is the writing is not clear since when u send it like an image . I changed the font to large but it didn't improve please create 36 or higher font

It is a good keyboard. I preferred it from others. I like the default letters being the sixth fidels( sadis ). Improvements: Please remove the settings button next to space bar. I keep pressing it while trying to reach space bar using my left hand thumb. Place the globe keyword change button at the bottom just like the one shown iPhone English keyboard. Include emoji button in place of the globe keyboard button. Please include Amharic letter Aynu አ ( o ) in the keyboard as well.

I have been using this app for many years. It's a wonderful app that can be used easily. But, the current version doesn't work unless the user selects "full access" when downloading which allows the app developers to collect personal data including any texts typed, credit card numbers used and location information. These causes a huge risk on the users. Unless the developers of the "itype Amharic" app explicitly guarantee that they don't collect any user information and stop asking users to grant them "full access" on their devices I don't recommend this product for nobody. I have deleted this app from my phone after I knew that they are very risky to use.

I have been using this app since the first version was released. I am in love with the new version because it's seamless and functional across the board. I don't even notice that I'm using it while reading Amharic text on other apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on. I enjoy reading jokes and sayings which make a lot more sense in their original context. 😊I highly recommend it.
