Content:
• Active Intro - Touch any continent to hear its name.
• Passive Intro - Movie introduces each continent name. Choose narrative or song.
• Quiz - "Ask Me" to locate a continent. Option to repeat. Touch to reveal answer.
• Puzzle - Drag pieces to reconstruct map.
• Labeling - Pin drags freely to label continent.
Features:
• Self-Correcting Quiz - answer fades in; audio reinforces; no wrong-answer penalty
• User-Controlled Manipulatives - pins and puzzle pieces drag freely around screen
• Fresh Challenge - questions, labels, and puzzle pieces appear in different order each time
• Puzzle - Pieces disburse around screen edges; touch Toss button to scatter randomly.
• All Labels --
• --- Pass - touch Pass button to skip a label versus peek at control map
• --- Control maps - touch lightbulb to see answer highlighted; others dimmed
Learning Style:
• Challenge increases as activities progress
• Children control the app's navigation; never locked into an activity
• Touch Puzzle and Label buttons within activity to restart.
• No penalty for a wrong answer
• Correct answers simply reinforced
• No distracting bells and whistles
TenSun puts children in charge of their learning by allowing them to control the challenge level and depth of their lesson. There is no penalty for a wrong answer. The correct answer is simply reinforced. As a result, activities are self-correcting. Children are free to work independently, in a small group, or with the help of a supervising adult at home or in the classroom.

Concept and visual design is thoughtfully integrated to supplement existing curriculum and classroom materials. The series was inspired by 3-year's observation in Lexington (MA) Montessori School Children's House classrooms where MyWorld, TenSun's desktop-based version of this series, has been used since 2004.
