If you wish to unzip .7z files, just change the extension to .zip in your Files app and decompress there. No need for this app.
I was looking for an app that could zip and unzip files and other formats other than the zip extension also. It has never crashed and I was looking for something that did not require a monthly payment. I do not mind paying for an app when it works, so this was $10 well spent and I’ll always have it, and the more I learn about it the better. It is meant to integrate into all of your cloud storages and make everything seamless. Organizing your files so that you can zip large swaths of documents and information and put them to the side so that file maintenance is a lot more easier, is definitely a plus. As technology changes and efficiency improves, we zip everything that’s now deprecated that used to work and put it aside, because for God sake we don’t want to lose anything we have ever created since the creation of tons of storage on our phones and tablets and PCs and countless cloud storage services 🤨 However, if you are the type of person who has no idea where your stuff is, and it’s on every cloud storage of free space that has been given you, maybe this isn’t for you. Just to let you know, you can save any photo or zip file into your iCloud files folder on your iPhone, and it will create a PDF for you and it will also zip and unzip files. I wish that OneDrive would do that, because it’s just been my favorite and it’s convenient and I know it very well. They are competing with iCloud and giving 50 GB of space for $.99 a month, so maybe they’ll include the option to convert to PDFs and zip and unzip files. I needed to work with other compression extensions mainly tho. And if you do care about organization and file maintenance, you will enjoy getting busy with this thing now. The reason I don’t mind paying $10, is because as iOS keeps increasing and updating technology with new iOS (iOS 18 will be out soon, and it will be a clear cut difference from iOS 17 and all the ones that preceded them), these people do all the work in making it continue to work and allowing you to update it and keep it and use it for lifetime (or as long as you use the same Apple ID). Anyway, so far so good and I think I got carried away, but as this app proves, too much information is not a bad thing these days 😁.
Everything is simple to use and the app is well organized. I have no regrets spending 10 dollars for this. It is money well spent.
Great app
I was happy to receive answers to my questions very quickly. This app does exactly what I need.
Well Done perfect for All Users
This app does an excellent job managing my Zip and archived data files. My needs are more for information (contents of the archive) than for improved security. In my case apple security protects access to your app which I do not use for data requiring additional security. 95% of the data I use this app to extract are various eBooks almost all for pleasure reading.
Just bought the pro version cause of limitations of free version and a waste of money cant even compress an audio recording.
Solid app which performs as advertised, but misses a useful feature. Please implement WiFi Transfer between iOS device and computer. Also, it would be nice to be able to toggle Dark Mode on/off from within the app settings. Otherwise, nice app.
