This app has become an safety issue, you can delete people but can’t block them without having to pay for it. I’ve had people harass me and even when I’ve told them not interested still they message. I’ve reported it and the team have done nothing… serious risk.. this app cares more about money then safety
I’m deleting this application after 6 years using it. It was good at first but recently it has become complicated and there are way too many scammers.
Jackd, Tinder and Bumble have been targets for gay men in a Chinese crypto scam that runs out of lagos. Avoid using any browser based apps. This app fails to trace the IP address to block this scam farm. Meaning they have lots of different computers they use to emulate the environments to run this app. Support should bag one of these guys and get their IP address. Block the whole damn IP range.
This app is full of fake profile from people trying to get personal details. A lot are pretending to be U.K. based and are always asking for WhatsApp details. When you ask for their number it’s always overseas. I wish Jack’d could sort this problem out
If you want an app to meet financial scammers hellbent on getting you to join some sort of Bitcoin or financial investment scam, then this is the app for you! The app is riddled with fake profiles from such likes and is only getting worse by the day. Never met a single genuine guy on here. As a dating app it’s not just unfit for purpose, but it’s also downright dangerous! It’s a shame that Apple are still allowing it on their App Store! Avoid at all costs!

There are so many frauds using the app for taking advantages from Chinese speaking users. They are using beautiful profiles on Jack’d, ask for your WhatsApp account, lure you to reveal your secrets, using all kinds of methods to blackmail / ask for money. This is harmful to the user and it need to be fix as soon as possible. Necessary profile validation / IP block listing / Duplicate Profile image reuse shall be required.

Can I have the old jackd back. It is complicated and I found the function “recently online” was disappeared, which only shows people with the same language I use. This is disappointing.
it keeps crashing, older messages often don’t load, freezes etc.
