Einmal hat mich da jemand fremdes angeschrieben diese App finde ich nicht gut 👎

The philosophy behind this App makes it really interesting. However, it often has problems connecting and the battery usage is high. Due to the many problems and crashes on the MacOS side I can no longer use it for the moment. I may be back later to see what the development brings.

SIP support has been silently(?) dropped. Please update the web pages accordingly as this app cannot be classified any longer as a SIP client.

I've been writing to one friend, and so far everything seems to work fine. Adding friends by scanning ther QR code is a cool addition. Jami appears to need more energy to operate than i.e. WhatsApp, according to my phone's battery usage report. It would be nice if that could be lowered a bit in future updates.

Why cannot I send messages at all? My contact and I can send messages to each other on our own platform, but they can’t be read.

Hello I’ve talked to a lot of my friends and random people across social media. Lots of us agree want this app to work correctly we would appreciate it if you worked on it. Patches and updates regularly or spread out evenly would be appreciated. Thanks!

I periodically revisit Jami from time to time with a couple friends and here are my latest findings. 1) Messaging only seems to work if the client is online. Eg: only way my friend knows to check Jami is if I tell them to via some other method 2) Audio works over the internet but video is no go 3) Sending pictures does not seem to work and fails 4) Battery usage could be better 5) Going to the home screen pauses the call instead of it continuing in the background While the quality of the audio call was good, we could not get video working. Though previously, video quality was on par with other apps. Hope the developers keep working on this

I love using the app however I can’t video call anyone! I don’t understand why.
