It seems like a good idea but not aimed for the correct level. It shows a lot of kanji with zero readings. I'm at a low-intermediate level for Japanese (JLPT N3-N4 area) and I don't think this should be categorized as beginner. No beginner would have enough Kanji for that. Again, neat idea, wrong execution.
