Nice UI but unbearably slow

Great Kansan style Ui w/unlimited projects and unlimited lists within (it appears), but soooo slow. What should be a 1-2 second action to tag a post with a couple tags takes 10-15 seconds because response times are abysmal. Click a tag and it wait for 2-3 seconds to highlight the tag, causing you to assume it didn’t take and click it again, which then forces you to wait for it to be disabled… you see where this is going. There should be no delay in clicking a tag and showing it assigned to the task, even if the background database operation is pending. I found that when it only has text typed from within the app, it’s pretty quick. However, when I pasted notes (less than 128 chars) from Microsoft Whiteboard, the delay was unbearable with just 4 tasks in one list. It appears to me to be an issue with parsing note data from other apps? I’m on an iPad Pro 12.9 so there’s plenty of CPU power, and I have more then enough memory so it’s not a resource issue. I’ll keep trying it and I hope the developer fixes the delay issue.

Good but can be better

Probably the best Kanban to do app in its class for iOS and MacOS but still has ways to improve (see my review of the MacOS version on the Mac App Store). It is useful and functional as it is now. The developer recently updated the iOS and the MacOS versions so they now use CloudKit to sync, and this is now fast and reliable, and user data stays private. Design is pleasant and intuitive, and navigation on iPhone is cleverly done. The good news is that the developer seems to working hard to improve this app, and I am looking forward to the coming updates.
