I understand ads are necessary for profit but the amount of ads makes the game nearly unplayable. Very good game ruined by monetary greed.

I’ve tried multiple times when I come to the end of Neontropolis the game just keeps running an endless loop. No bonus or no boss fight. App developer can you please advise? Otherwise it’s an awesome game, got me into Apple Arcade! So I hope this gets fixed for me please.

Once a good time wasting game now filled with ads that can't skip. Another deleting app until they can figure out their path. The spiral of failure. Low revenue earning- more ads that can’t be skip- players gotten frustrated playing so delete the game - lower revenue

I’ve been playing the game for awhile and I really enjoy it. Personally, I’m a collector so my first priority was to optimise my cash flow. Spending most of my gold on the “cash dash” power up. This took quite awhile to reach level 4, alls good I understand the rationale. But when I finally did, I unlocked the other upgrades out of curiosity of what they did. And I kind of regret doing that because the cash dash tokens don’t show up as often anymore. Essentially the power up which I pushed most of my gold lost its value, arguably becoming just as valuable as its original state because of it frequency. The other abilities are cool, I just hope to have the option to primarily use one ability of my choice. Either that or be able to disable power ups. Once again, great game hope to see more cool content in time to come!

What used to be a really fun game is now littered with so many Ads that can’t be skipped. Had so much fun many years ago because there were no ads and the gameplay was seamless. Now after every few games i’m greeted with ads.

[EDIT] Ok, now it's even more clear that the devs are desperate for money: from what I've heard, the latest update added a "free coin offer wall", which basically entices those who play to participate in SURVEY-BASED SCAMS just to earn a meager amount of in-game coins. This is where I draw the line—this ought to be reported, as it is highly illegal for any app dev to make money off of scamming their users. On a side note: For some reason, the "devs" responded to my review in a language that I do not understand. My guess is that the response was automated, and the bot wrongly assumed my main language. [Original Review] What used to be an ad-free game with no microtransactions that affected gameplay is now nothing but a cash cow being milked to death. New costumes, vehicle skins and jetpacks are all locked behind a paywall (just look at the amount of event-limited "bundles" released now!) or a massive grind (obviously to maximize ad revenue—ads play after EVERY run, unless, of course, you spent money on the game). The introduction of upgradeable powerups made the game semi-pay-to-win—upgrading powerups costs millions of coins, and spenders can easily max out all powerups by paying for coins, and thus have an easier time with the game. Gone are the days where new cosmetics and gadgets are coin-purchaseable (in fact, no new gadgets have been released for YEARS now). This game has become nothing but a begging plea by the devs for more money. This really needs to change if this game wants to see the light of day again—and this applies for ALL of Halfbrick's games nowadays.
