Description
The John Glenn Astronomy Park is an outdoor facility in the Hocking Hills State Park. It is 12 miles south of Logan, Ohio, about an hour from Columbus. On site, there is an observatory and an outdoor Plaza that is open to the public at all hours. The layout of the Plaza of the John Glenn Astronomy Park (JGAP) is designed to teach you about, and help you interact with, our universe. Our app, the JGApp, teaches you about the many features of our plaza, and how to use them to appreciate the movement of the Sun and Earth, the position of the stars, and the scale of the bodies in our solar system.
