Jiobit for Families

Since updating to the 4G design they have broken several times. Every time requires a month of back and forth emails with customer service. It’s is terrible, annoying, and a waste of time. Do not recommend.

So much delay in giving the right locations. LIVE is not working, I've tried to use it and it's just sitting there spinning with no result.

Bought this to track my elderly father. Never worked at all. Wasted a couple hundred dollars. Don’t even consider buying this product. I would have given it zero stars if that were an option. Examples: My father would leave the “safe zone” with me and sometimes I would get an alert 30 minutes later. Some times, I would be with him several mikes from home with the tracker on and charged and the app would say he was home. This is simply an example of failed technology that they are milking customers with for a few months. My guess is it will eventually fade out of existence after screwing over lots of people. DO NOT BUY!

Got this 18 months ago for my two dogs. I wanted to be able to know when they escaped the fence and exactly where they are It worked great until recently. Now it is constantly jumping on and off Wi-Fi so I’m get sometimes 10 notifications an hour telling me they’ve left and then they’ve returned. Can’t keep this up. Jiobit is now part of Tile so don’t know if that’s how it is but can say that I don’t have a way to get help from them. I’ve sent help inquiries with no response except to ask me to rate the requested help which I’ve responded asking for them to response. I think I’m going to stop and start with AirTags until I do enough research on a similar system.

App is junk, plus device does not hold charge. They charge a monthly fee plus a cancelation fee. Not happy with this product. The device cost a lot too. Money will be better spent somewhere else

Slow updates but does its job. Charged me two months worth of membership for “breaking the contract”… seems like a money business, not a customer business. I’d use (and plan to use) another tracker for my cat.

The battery can only last one day ! And the update is so slow

I have had more problems than successes with this app. The battery life is poor, tracking refresh or live view take incredibly long or just don’t work. One time my 3 year old wandered out of sight and it took the app 3 minutes to refresh….. that is a very long time to be worrying about a child when you are paying a monthly subscription to a product that supposedly alleviates those types of headaches. I plan on canceling my subscription and finding a better solution. Do your homework before buying.

This company loves to take your money but does not come through on their end with support or doesn’t help resolve any issues with jiobit. Now I want to cancel and they want to charge canceling fees when their product never worked!

This device has helped me find our cat 4 times in less than a year! I could tell which neighbor's backyard he was in, or which street he wandered into by looking at the map in the app. I can also look at his history and see where he has gone when he was wandering. Plus, when it shows he is home and I cant find him, I just ring his jiobit from my phone and the jiobit alarm goes off. At this point the cat has gotten used to just coming to find me so that I can stop his device from ringing. I'm thinkin about getting another for my dog in case he gets out. Highly recommend for kids too. you can place them in a backpack for ensuring uour kids safety.
