appreciate being able to read the paper in traditional print format as well as being able to access “live” news
Love the Globe! We need the Globe for many reasons. To be aware of the many things going on in Joplin in every area helps all of us participate in many area and ways. I can’t imagine being without this extremely important supplier of information that affects us all!
I really appreciate the ease of navigability of the app. The icons are clear, not too touchy. Best of all you allow me to easily share your great content with others without a paywall. Thank you, thank you for providing excellent local content and balanced national and world coverage. Keep up the good work.
I This is the future of news. This app is easy, and current. We would like delivery of course, but this beats no news Glad Joplin still has the Globe
Not faint praise -- just a fact. It's not the NY Times nor The Economist, but then their "content delivery" budgets dwarf the Globe's resources. Compared to other mid-market newspapers, this is more intuitive, stable & responsive that most. Obviously, no flashy app can make up for the lack of decent content, and in that area, the Globe is a shining star. (I'll give it 6 stars out of 5.) As a part-time resident, I rely on the Globe to provide a daily immersion into the Joplin world. It does that very, very well. THANKS! (For comparison, the Daily Herald, a Chicago-area paper, with 10 times(?) the readership, is also an excellent newspaper. While it has steadily improved its app, it still has glitches that the Globe never had, or overcame far earlier.)
I’ve had your your digital edition for several years. My pages started crawling around early this year. Sometimes I have to use 2 hands on my screen to keep your text on my screen. I also read the 170+ page Democrat/Gazette every day. I’ve had this subscription for 6+ years. Their software is ‘absolute’ in it’s presentation. It’s great. No crawling around.
Great app
Great local newspaper
Works great, we use it daily when we are traveling
