June FAQ
Is June free?
Yes, June is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is June legit?
🤔 The June app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
When I first tried to connect to a second GEN oven, the newer devices with the latest iOS would not connect. My guess was that the app wasn’t updated and so it didn’t know about the find devices on network permission setting.
So I tried an old iPhone 5s, and it connected the first try.
After several months of owning the second GEN oven, I tried connecting on my primary iPhone and it somehow worked. Hope this helps someone
Love the oven but expensive subscription ruins it
I love the oven. I’ve had a few issues that June support was able to take care of. On that end they have been great.
The issue I have is the subscription model for the app. They need some kind of subscription to support the app and it’s updates. It’s just that $10 a month? $120 a year? It should be a few dollars a month or an option to pay a lower yearly fee. At this price point it’s just not worth it.
June app is great… when it connects
The app will connect to the oven about a third of the time, rendering it mostly useless.
Premium package phone app access
Use the June of an every day since my January 2020 to purchase and today for the first time looking for recipes the iPhone app is asking me to subscribe to a premium package. The original purchase of a premium oven and accessories was supposed to allow one full year of premium service. Explain how to reboot through this difficulty.
Overall I love the machine, small hiccups can easily be fixed.
Poor app
Like the oven, hate the app. Need to add the ability to clear history IMMEDIATELY. Just deleted and reinstalled. Now to hook it back up. What poor design!
Camera
There is a camera in the oven. When the. cooking is over, one is offered the chance to take a picture of the result. However when one tries, one sees the iPad camera, not the oven camera. Please fix.
Dark mode? Why not?? It's 2022!!!!
Please. If you are going to use low contrast font in an app with no way to increase text size, at least add dark mode capability.
App broke it
My gen 1 dial no longer scrolls to set temp after they updated their software. App rarely works to save changes to my custom programs. Been going on for months now. What do you guys sit around doing all day??
Cool idea, poorly executed
If you ever stood in your kitchen and wished your appliances had features hid behind a pay wall... then this is the oven for you.
Turn off the take photo pic
I’m not the type to take photos of my food, and if I was, I’d never do it from the ovens camera. Why is this a feature I can’t disable. It’s easily the most annoying thing in the app.
