This is a must have audio app when visiting the National Parks. I wish I would have known about this app a few years ago. Highly recommended.

A must have
We used this in Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was amazing.
The best National Park audio guide
My whole family loves this app so much. The audio quality is great, and the script is not only educational but also informative. We’ve loved each guide that we’ve used as we’ve traveled to different national parks, and hope one day the team will start making more! Highly recommend
Abandoned
App is very flakey on iOS 17, and reads out about half of the waypoints. Also, it randomly crashes while in use. For a free destination like big bend it is alright but I would not spend anything on any of the other parks.
Awesome app for national parks
How many time do people visit a place and unless you have a tour guide, you have no clue about the history of the region. A friend told me about JustAhead when visiting Big Bend. We downloaded the app but I really didn’t expect much. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Using the GPS in my phone the app knew exactly where we were and talked about all the history of structures, the region and so much more than I could have imagined. I will never visit another national park without downloading the map again. It was better than a personal tour guide!

BEST APP EVER
I can't say enough good things about Just Ahead. My friend group found this app a few years ago when we started taking week-long National Parks trips. As you drive through the parks, the app GPS tracks where you are going and tells you about all the sights and views that are coming up. It gives you so many facts, stories, and information that has truly enhanced all of our trips. I'm not joking, we love this app so much that I reached out to Just Ahead and asked if the narrator could record a toast for my Maid of Honor speech in my best friend's wedding. And it was AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and download this app!!
Never Stop Using Just Ahead
My husband and I used Just Ahead our first time in 2017 to Big Bend National Park. It is a huge park and we were fascinated with the history of the park and its people, the geologic explanations of the mountains and volcanoes, as well as the animals and plants we had never seen before. We used Just Ahead in Rocky Mountain NP which gave us something to talk about after each “bubble” of info. At one point we were told that around the next curve would be a place that elk like to hang out and the elk were there! Last weekend my friend and I went to hike Big Bend and listened to Just Ahead. We heard the same highlights, but this time our goals were different than with the spouse. We found a great place to hike(The Chimneys) with pictographs and petroglyphs! I absolutely Love this app!! You should try it!!
