Just The Tips

I am having so much trouble with this app I have been using it for about 7 years and now it has been calculating double shifts. It writes down my shift twice I delete one and it deletes both. Very frustrating

Only thing I would like to see change is hourly wage factored into total earnings for the day, it only keep tracks of the tips and tip outs

Not working

I absolutely love this app. It makes tracking all of my tips so easy- which was why I downloaded the app. However, they went beyond simply tracking tips, and give you reports of when your best nights are, what your best weeks are, what your tips boil down to hourly, amongst many other things. I also like that I can input multiple different jobs with this app!

I’ve been using this app since 2020 and it has helped me review my earnings and financially plan better.

It wouldn’t let me sign in. Someone referred me to this app and I tried making an account and then logging in but it wouldn’t let me. I even pressed forgot password and reset it but it still wouldn’t work. If anyone knows a solution to this please email me.

I’m so aggravated with this, because if the developer would pay attention to the app, I’d give it 5 stars because I’ve used this app since 2017 across several different restaurants. It’s amazing, I love being able to see my history of income and the trends and other data. The ability to see this data in words is also fantastic when considering life changes. I’ve been out of the service industry for almost a year now, and am about to jump back in. I redownloaded this app and attempted to sign back in so I could assess what my schedule would need to look like to pay my bills. To my chagrin, the app started crashing immediately whenever I tried to log in. I mean like immediate crash after opening (once I pressed submit on my login). At some point, I guess I got in cuz I was able to view all my old stuff, and it stopped crashing. Left it alone for a while and just came back to it today to reevaluate, based on another restaurant I worked at more recently. The moment I switched restaurants, it began crashing again, immediately upon opening. I cannot open the app now. If you are considering getting this app because Apple labeled it as “The #1 app for servers”, DO NOT GET IT!!! Or at least, check the version history to ensure it’s had an update more recently than six years ago. I don’t imagine any app developer is reading these anymore, so save yourself the data loss later and find a better app for logging tips.

Really like the app and everything that his has to offer. A couple more things I wish it did tho, Wish I could calculate easier how much cash I made for specific pay periods. In fact it would be nice to know overall cash tips monthly/yearly. Also knowing how much should be on my paychecks should be easier using JustTheTip. That’s kind of why I have it to make sure accounting isn’t screwing me on my paychecks. Appreciate the app and I really like how easy it is to enter in my tips. Love the hourly break down.

I love how customizable this app is. I tried about 10 different other apps and so far this blows the other out of the water. My only fear now is that they start making it like all the other app charming a monthly subscription. I wish it could just be a one time purchase even if it’s a high amount. The app is definitely worth it .

I have used this app for years recently. I’ve had problems with it. When this app works it works great. When it has a glitch. It’s terrible which I’m now dealing with the last six months today. I’ve been dealing with this for three weeks. I messaged tech-support. I contacted the software person. No response. This is the third time I’ve had to re-enter all my data from three years back. It does not save your data. Tech-support hasn’t contacted me in three weeks. It really is a shame. I’m really mad.
