Viime kesänä huomasin uusia toimintoja, kuten interaktiivisia kuvia arkipäiväistä esineistä ja harjoitustehtäviä niihin liittyen (esim yhdistä parit). Nämä rikastuttavat kommunikointia seurakuntaan tulleiden venäläispakolaisten kanssa ❤️ Toivottavasti pakolaisten hyödyksi saadaan sovellukseen jossain vaiheessa myös suomen kieli!

At first this didn't seem to work, nothing seemed to happen when pressing a language. But now after a few days, it apparently does work.

I would like the ability to increase text size. My mom also asked about it. She wants to improve her English and I want to improve my Korean. I intend to use this app in conjunction with Mango Languages and Naver Papago. Regardless of which app I’m using I intend to write out what I’m learning to pronounce and even then I’m sure I’ll have low memory retention. This is because I’ve had at least one stroke and it’s getting harder and harder for me to remember even scriptures that I thought I’d never forget when I was decades younger. My mom has also had at least one stroke. She sometimes thinks her English is good enough but I reminded her, “mom, you speak Konglish.” Even though I’ve known her my whole life I often don’t understand everything she’s trying to tell me. I wonder if I’ll remember a new to me Korean sentence even if I hand write it 100 times in a row. That’s how bad my brain fart problems and Swiss cheese hole memory is.
