KAKE First Alert Weather

This has been my go-to weather app for years. I have found KAKE predictions to be more accurate than other local and national sources. But sometime recently, an update removed the hourly likelihood % for precipitation, which I had found to be quite helpful as an estimate. Bring it back please!

Every app has their issues, but overall KAKE Weather is good, for the most part the weather is accurate, the alerts are on time and they have an awesome weather team - always catch Frank Waugh in the mornings.

Their weather predictions are hit or miss, even for Wichita. Plus, they are not detailed enough about specifically where storm related weather will occur. On top of that, they send you notifications for no reason sometimes accept to maybe up their responses to their notifications.

The radar is never accurate.

I guess this is a pretty good app. My main concern with it is I will get a notification that says additional information from KAKE first alert. But then it doesn’t say anything else. So I go to the app and there’s nothing new there either.

Not sure what happened but since the update it takes forever to open and randomly closes. Also the updated background makes it too difficult to read the weather updates, it needs to be a solid color.

Last update Ruined radar views!

Like the app but since your last update, the app opens and closes. I am on the latest iOS. Hoping for a new update to fix this soon.

Was a good weather app until the redesign in the latest update. They put an ad over the videos section like whaaat. Can’t turn off certain alert overlays on the radar. Just don’t like the new look overall. The previous look and layout was so much better. If it’s not broke don’t fix it because now it is broken!

It’s horrible now since the recent update. You can’t even see he weather now unless you pay to remove the ads that cover the screen. Change it back!!!
