Description

Finally Feel Your Heart Move In Prayer
Kalaam uses cutting-edge technology to help you understand Quranic Arabic - in a way that you'll never forget it. And it's 100% free.
We’ve re-imagined the Arabic learning process at every step.
By dedicating just 10 minutes a day, you can understand:
40% of the Quran in one week
70% in one month
95% in one year
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or expert. There’s a clear path from your current level to 100% understanding.
Start off with an on-boarding test and receive insights into your current understanding level, paving the way for a tailored learning journey. Kalaam will tell you exactly what percentage of the Quran you currently understand.
Every single day, come in for a daily lesson that will teach you new words with their Quranic context. Beautiful images showcase their range of meanings. Delve deeper to explore their usage throughout the Quran.
Memorized certain surahs? Prioritize them so you learn words from there before anything else.
Kalaam uses a learning technique known as active recall with spaced repetition (popular in medical schools) to ensure that you never forget what you've learned by prompting you to review these words right when you're on the brink of forgetting them.
Once you get to about 65% understanding, unlock a daily Quran translation challenge tailed to your vocabulary.
Earn points with each activity and win badges by competing with Kalaam users world-wide, or just those in your country or city.
Create custom leaderboards to compete against your friends and family and learn together.
Experience the Quran come alive as you learn! With Kalaam's Quran-reading mode, words shift in color, and translations start to disappear, reflecting your growing understanding. Immerse in the text with newfound confidence, sans translation.
NOTE: The current version does not teach you grammar, only the vocabulary used in the Quran. A revolutionary new way of learning Arabic grammar is coming in a few months inshaAllah.

I just started using the app and so far I think its a great way to learn the Quran. I like the the challenge part of the app as I feel I learned there the best. Jazakallahu Khairan

Has a lot of potential

Mashallah this is app is beautifully designed. For vocab, it is a great way to practice and memorize words; however, there is a lot of room for improvements to help new learners understand things like conjugations, etc. Also, the app is very very glitchy, and I often need to restart it to use it.

future mushaf feature

ما شاء الله تبارك الله I realize lot of logic goes behind highlighting words. if convenient, would be great to have the mushaf version also to assist huffaz to review along with vocabulary practice. جزاك الله خيرا

2 weeks and I know a word in nearly EVERY ayah!

Subhanallah what an amazing app, it truly helps you learn the words of the Quran. Every single ayah I read in the Quran, I know words from it and it’s so so phenomenal the feeling is indescribable. Some of the words that are similar were difficult for me to grasp in flashcard method so I wrote them side by side to help solidify, Alhumdulillah minimal effort. Highly recommend!

So helpful and motivating

Mashallah, this is such a great app. Well designed for motivation and learning, and also very nice to simply read Quran with the word by word translations. The algorithm does a good job teaching just a few new words every day and I’ve truly expanded my Quranic vocabulary since I’ve started using it. Thank you!

Simply Astonishing

It’s amazing how they make it so simple and straightforward yet easy to progress. I feel a great deal of control over my progress and coverage of the meanings of the Quran. With consistency I should be able to pray taraweeh and understand everything I hear without doubt InshaAllah.

Nice app but

The app is good so far but the only thing that is annoying is the video of the brother. It appears so often with lengthy lecture type videos and with no option to skip the video.
