Kalkulilo (Calculator)

This review is a mixed bag. It's a decent calculator - but it looks like a jar of sugar candy sweets found long ago in the tuck shop near my first school! These days - and based upon appearance alone - it's not tasty enough, and has been expelled from the over-subscribed maths class of my iPad. However, I should pay tribute to the developer for dedicating time and effort in producing what is actually a very capable calculator, for free. …Oh, did I forget to mention the intrusive advertising? That warrants a further reduction of one star. And for that reason more than any other, Kalkulilo; you are hereby dismissed…

Thought it was about time I gave credit where it’s due! I’ve been making use of this excellent calculator for years. Very powerful and well designed! Have never seen another calculator to touch it!

It would be nice to have it without adverts... otherwise it is very well done calculator and with very usefully features like apple watch calculator and widget calculator.

Calculator works well for adding time then converting to decimal. Advertisements for "Russian Women", however, are unwanted.

A truly great calculator. You don't see a scientific calculator in the portrait form!

The adverts just get in the way and make it unresponsive.

Doesn't work. Even with brackets it does not abide by BIDMAS. The ad takes up most of the calculator screen too. Rubbish.

The app still shows the result of the last calculation even if you pressed 'AC' to zero it before closing the app, the next time it is loaded- if the app has been evicted from memory and has to be reloaded (it behaves correctly if the app is still available in memory). It's not a showstopper, but is annoying and should have been fixed by now. I'm not too keen on the new icon either, the previous one better represented the purpose of the app.

I paid the small charge to remove the ads. It is well worth the money, creating an ad free paid-for app might avoid all the bad reviews. There is nothing bad about this calculator is has fantastic functions. I say, try it and then pay the small price to remove the ads.

Idiots have put in ads. Don't touch this app. Make them lose sales. Make the advertisers stop advertising with them.
