Straight to the point. Perfect for practice
Have tried plenty. Kana Mind is the best, both in terms of repetition and aesthetics.
I actually learned on my time this app was amazing and after I learned the alphabet I actually could read a little. Thinking about learning again!!!
I’ve tried many kana flash card apps and this is absolutely the best of the bunch. Highly recommended if you are learning katakana and hiragana.
I’ve been having trouble learning Japanese, especially with the characters. This app has really been a great help and has accelerated my learning a lot faster than simply doing books with tracing exercises.
Great app for learning Kana!!!
Thank You ! :-)
This is not the best app for learning kana from scratch. However, once you know kana, this is by far the best app for practice. You can choose which kana appear and it includes maru and tenten which many apps don’t. Use this app to improve reading speed!
I'd forgotten the whole system after having memorized the katakana and hiragana years ago. After fiddling with this for an hour or so I started recalling and cementing. It's a great companion and reminder when you forget certain ones as you're reading a basic level book! Go for it
This app has a good UI and tests the student through the entire hiragana and katakana character set. I did however notice that the katakana チ was rendered in romaji as ‘ti’ when it should be ‘chi’ and シ was written as ‘si’ when it should be ‘shi’. The sounds ‘ti’ and ‘si’ do not exist in Japanese so these errors stood out. Otherwise, not bad at all.
