Description

KanjiBox is an offline Japanese studying application. It provides an efficient yet fun way to practice all aspects of Japanese (kana, kanji, vocab, reading, writing...) through drills, quizzes and flash cards, while providing engaging feedback through progress charts, scores and game-like "achievements" for each Japanese level.
KanjiDraw and KanaDraw add-ons harvest the full power of your device's touchscreen to guide you through proper Japanese handwriting, while detailed animated cards tell you everything you need to know on each kanji.
KanjiBox is particularly well suited for standardized test preparation (JLPT, Kanji Kentei, Ninja Academy etc.) but works great as a personal study tool too.

Extremely useful and beneficial in my studies. The link to imiwa was a fantastic idea too. Definitely an excellent buy.

Best Japanese learning app out there

The longest lasting of all (over a dozen) my Nihongo learning apps. I've used it since JLPT5, which was about 2500 kanji ago. Don't bother with any others to learn. Get other apps for reading literature and listening practice to support the core of this app. A fantastic app.

This is positively the most useful and handy kanji, kana & grammar app I have ever used. Very highly recommended for all learners! Set up in JLPT stages for easy usage!

pretty good

I have tried many apps ,games or programs like that over the year. I like how this one looks and feel! One of the best feature is that it includes vocabulary and reading, sometimes I want to study more than words that has a kanji. It is without saying it could be improved upon addings features like the ability to search for a kanji or a word and making your own list in the app.

Great app for a great price

I am really enjoying this app. It allows you to practice multiple aspects of kanji usage, including identifying the character, readings, using it in various compounds, writing it (if you are willing to pay the extra $0.99 for kanjidraw). The link to imiwa (Japanese dictionary app) for each word is also very helpful. You can also change various settings to reflect your learning needs - don't want to see English translation? Want only the kanji and not the reading to show up? No problem. This is a LOT of value for a very reasonable price.

Great app with a few issues

Love it. However. Pass a quiz three times in an hour. Still doesn't show up in the achievement section. Not cool.
