KARDS - The WW2 Card Game

Generally, I enjoy this game and I've even spent money to play it. The more I play it the more I realize how unbalanced this game is. It would be nice if the developers could maybe balance out some of the insanely overpowered cards. For example, Britain has a card called the Commonwealth, which basically just ends the game even if you're playing well. IF YOU HAVE 30 DEFENCE AND THE OTHER PLAYER HAS 20, you can end the game. That's absolutely insane!!! There should be nothing in the game that just ends it. That defeats the whole purpose of the game and all the fun in it. That's just one example of a few cards in the game that are just way too overpowered. I do think that cards should be balanced out but I also think that cards of that power shouldn't even be in the game. If you want the game to be fun and you want people to continue to want to play you need to get rid of that, at the least tone, it down a lot. It's become a strategy that EVERY SINGLE PERSON uses and you know they are going to use it and it makes it boring as heck. Whether you can stop it or not, that's besides the point, the point is it makes it really really boring to play. I would be more than happy to give this game a five out of five once this kind of stuff is fixed. Also, adding new cards to each country would be really cool.

I’ve put 1300+ hours into this game on PC and god knows how many hours on the phone. This game is generous for a F2P, and I was happy spending money to support the developers. The community on discord is alive and well and earnest, the developers are always trying to be in touch with the needs and wants of it’s player base. I’ve volunteered with beta testing the iOS app, with general bug testing, and with card text editing. The game itself has an untold amount of possibility in deck combinations, and that’s what keeps me coming back for more. It’s the challenge of trying to build a better mousetrap. Thank you 1939 for an experience of a lifetime.

I’ve waited a long time for this to come to mobile. And it’s as good as I’d hoped. Works well on both my phone and iPad.

A must try for any card game enthusiast that enjoys a WWII setting. has a pretty decent free to play progression system, specially in the beginning. The wildcard system is great for getting the specific cards you need for your deck and the recent updates only work to make progression friendlier without needing to spend a dime. Personally I’ve only picked up the cheap starter pack that has great value and provides a good way to show some support for a game I play almost everyday!

A tried and true formula of pay to win. Like any garbage F2P game, this one is no different. Kards is a scam, and any review that says otherwise is fraudulent
