Karteto - Language Flashcards!

Great app! Valuable for learning and expanding my vocabulary. A few suggestions: add images for more words, incorporate mini-games for variety, enhance dictionary translations, and enable the creation of personal word lists. Noticed improvements during use, looking forward to more upgrades!

Surprisingly, relatively few people seem to know about it, but imo this app stands out as one of the best in the market. I used it for improving my Dutch vocabulary and it really works! The pre-made "explore" group is a nice touch, and the option to add your own words is also useful. But the highlight for me is the generic feel of the app and the cool visuals they have! TLDR: highly recommended

I really love Karteto! I've been learning Spanish on Duolingo for a year, and while I'm dedicated to learning and also use books for writing and reading practice, Karteto significantly aids me in memorizing words and phrases. While it doesn't focus extensively on grammar (for which books or Duolingo are recommended), it enhances my overall learning experience. The only drawback is that it can be quite repetitive and monotonous. The repetition helps me retain phrases and vocabulary. Despite the occasional frustration, I find Karteto wonderful and highly recommend it to serious learners as it feels like a useful tool. I love using it as part of my language-learning journey!

It is impossible to save the corrections in flashcards, as the translation is not always correct. Also in case the flash card contains. “n’t” as in short form of “has not”, the application adds some funny stuff

I enrolled in Spanish classes throughout high school and completed two semesters in college, yet I found it challenging to engage in conversational Spanish. The language gradually faded from my memory as I used it less. Recently I moved to Spain, so my desire and need to learn Spanish re-ignited, but the vocabulary proved to be a stumbling block. Karteto is helping me solve it. I really love this app. If you're hesitant, I urge you to give it a try; it truly works.

Superb app! I've been using it for a while now and cannot recommend it enough. It has become my daily companion on the way to work and the time spent is much more productive than when I just played games. In 3 months I've added 600 words to my vocabulary and already feel much more confident. Just want to say thanks to the Karteto team. The only problem for me is that Apple doesn't accept payments in my country and I can't buy the subscription.
