it’s essentially kana & vocab flash cards, wrapped in a very cute package with some RPG elements. the RPG elements lend well to learning, i think. while you help riko get stronger, you’re getting stronger too! it also looks like it has a pretty good amount of content. the first two dungeons are pretty short, but there are 7 more after that with 28 lessons (plus two bosses) each. imo that’s gonna be well worth the price tag to get rid of ads.
I have to delete and re-download this app whenever I close out of it. It’s very frustrating.
If you really want to learn Japanese but have a hard time with other Japanese learning study material This could help you It’s fun, and engaging, you always feel like your learning more and more every time you play So give it a shot if you want to try learning Japanese in a simple yet fun way
I have a hard time remembering hiragana katana and kanji after I learn them but on this app I actually remember them after playing, it is a video game style so you advice by beating people up while playing, it just a fun way to remember the characters.
It’s decent overall, but I don’t like it as much as their other game Kawaii Nihongo. I’d rather they’d focus their efforts on releasing more levels on there. That game was genius.
I’ve only played through the beginning but the app is cute and educational! It’s style is similar to duo lingo except it gives a traditional gaming element to it. If I get some spare time, I would be happy to sit through the app. TLDR: Simple + Cute Works similarly to DuoLingo
I've already learned a lot of Japanese over the past 5 years, and can easily say that the Japanese in this app is not correct in many instances. The pronunciation is all over the place and often incorrect, and some of the words are just plain wrong. If you are trying to learn Japanese, do NOT use this app.
Self explanatory
I know this game is practically fresh out the box, so it has much more features to come to it I presume! So far, I haven’t experienced any bugs, and I love the challenge of the timed questions! It really helps if you get KawaiiNihongo as well, because they start off with the same hiragana, but so far I love it!
