Keeper FAQ
Is Keeper free?
Yes, Keeper is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Keeper legit?
🤔 The Keeper app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I used to use Keeper but stopped because I took a few months off from driving. Restarted subscription this morning because I started driving again. There was no way to look at more recent transactions, no way to ask for help, NOTHING. I basically paid for the 10 minutes of screwing around the app to try and find my new data. Completely WORTHLESS and now I’m out $16
Amazing up Until Recently
This App has been amazing! Super easy to use. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know that has a small business. Additionally I told my accountant about it so that he could also refer his clients. This is just so user friendly and is going to make filing taxes so easy this year.
My ONLY reason for not giving it 5 stars is because lately after I update a deduction my screen goes blank and I have to exit and re-enter the App in order to see my list of transactions. It used to go back to my list of transactions right after I’d update a deduction. This just seems like a glitch. So hopefully someone reads this and tries to fix that.
Other than that it’s great!
Keeper/bank account
The app does great with tracking all transactions from credit cards to bank cards. A few months ago for some reason my bank is no longer linked. The app lets to re-link the acct but, when you try and relink them it always brings up an error without any information on how to resolve the issue. The big problem is if I submit my return through keeper inhave a feeling I’m not going to have my return deposited in my acct. would really like some resolution from keeper.
Good, but…
Would be helpful if there was a way to include mileage in the estimated tax! Otherwise, good.
Easy way to do you own taxes
This is my first time doing my taxes
Stalling
I downloaded the app and it continues to scan with no results. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it continued to stall. Maybe a good app for some but not for me.
Easy peasy
So far so good.
Great experience
If you own your own business this app just makes sense
Charged $200 for an app that wasn’t working
I set up a trial with this service and my bank account immediately disconnected. However they still found a way to charge my for a yearly subscription despite the app not functioning because my bank disconnected on their end. I also never recall being asked if I consented to a charge, and picked this app because the ad says it’s a free tax service. Their app says they can refund but it will take 5-7 business days. Super disappointed in the app, and being charged for a non functional service. 7 business days is a long time to hold someone’s money that did not consent to be charged in the first place
Taking data
You should tell people about the price before taking all the data and connecting bank info etc
