Shows promise....
Some frustrating ux: the font is "cute" but hard to read, so frustrating for early readers (or near-readers); the "page swipe" ignores swipe velocity so it's harder/confusing/frustrating compared to usual iOS interactions. Also the rotation of the tan gram pieces is not smooth or easy. Lastly it's frustrating that the ads are on the gameplay screen, as it's easy for my son to accidentally click on them when he's focusing on the puzzles. All that said, using tangrams is a clever idea, and the app seems promising.
