Too expensive

Enjoy the reading content however have spent over £60 and still not finished the book! The bonus coins earned daily only give you 1 chapter 😩

Extortionate. Would give 0 stars if I could.

I did the maths on this one because it irked me so much. A book I started reading on this app has 183 chapters (each chapter is essentially a pov change so pretty short). Each chapter of the story costs 30 coins to unlock, so using that I worked out that it takes 5490 coins to unlock the entire book (30*183). (Stay with me pls 😅) They do have bonus coins included in purchases (though it takes way more bonus coins to unlock chapters than regular coins), and ways to earn free bonus coins in-app, but this still doesn’t get you more than a couple of chapters a day (1 chapter = 30 regular coins, or 150 bonus coins). Anyway, back to the maths: the best deal you can get when buying coins in-app (from what I can see) is 1750 coins for £24.99, so that’s 1.4p per coin (£24.99/1750). If we take the example that requires 5490 coins to unlock, with coins costing 1.4p apiece this means unlocking the whole book comes to a grand total of £76.86. (5490*1.4p) Just to reiterate, this is for One Singular book. £76.86. Absolute insanity.

Unrealistic

How does it even make sense that I could finish a whole book if I went and bought one or bought two books with the money I’ve spent here I paid £25 and it didn’t even cover the whole bloody book Don’t waste your money

So expensive!

So expensive! I only gave 2 stars because the app is going well, but i spend like 100$ for 150 chapters?! And the book has 600 chapters. Too expensive! And the bonuses don’t really worth it

This app is a trap

Don’t get this app!! You get free chapters to get hooked into then tricked into think £20 with bonus coins is a great deal, then it’s to late and spent £70 on. It’s the same bias as addiction or gambling addiction. You pay more cause you want more till you find your broke. It’s a great plan to take money from people as there’s no proper regulation for it. Charge as much as you want as the customer still pays it. Customers problem due to the fact they say how much it costs. What I don’t get how nearly every review is is one star yet the App Store says its 4 out of 5???

disappointing

i LOVE the novels, don’t get me wrong. This being said, I HATE the fact that it requires literally hundreds of pounds to be able to read the stories that I want…maybe introducing a subscription service would be a better solution ?? so many people don’t have hundreds of pounds to spare just to read the one book that they really enjoy. It’s really disappointing…

Do not waste your time rip off

Even top bestseller authors would not charge over £500 quid to read a badly translated book! It’s nothing to do with people budgets etc as you’ve responded in previous posts…. How much of that actually goes to these authors I wonder? Not worth the money at all even a millionaire wouldn’t pay these prices it’s laughable

Total rip off. It’s NOT free. Costs a fortune. Should be a law against this sort of app. Ripping off the general public. Shame on you

Rip off DO NOT GET THIS

You have to pay a fortune to read a book. Or you can use the bonus system by watching adverts for a few pages a day. The daily bonus never gets to 7 days in a row but goes back to the start and the free tickets to win each day give you nothing or 50% off the price. Absolute joke.
