Killer Sudoku by Sudoku.com Reviews

Great game - many ads

MRH2010 on

This puzzle game is one I enjoy probably more than any other, with great challenges at the expert level. I like the choice of choosing the level you want to play, along with other options. However, it is loaded with ads (they have increased a lot in the last number of months). I get several every game, and the cost to remove ads is pretty steep. I would purchase if I found it on sale.

About the ads...

Love the game and the event challenges. What I'm less of a fan of are the ads in languages I don't understand. Looks like Chineese/Japanese/Korean, I speak or read none of them.

Soo many damn ads

You get an ad at the beginning of a game, 1 at the end and 3 during the game. Its ridiculous. Besides that its a good game.

I love killer sudoku, but I can’t stand how I’m being held hostage with repeating ads that don’t let you leave them to return to playing the game. I’m leaving the game for this reason. Really fed up. Additional comments: I know games have ads, my issue is not being able to exit an ad. I need to exit the up to 6 times and this continues with the same ad for the rest of my play time.

Challenging game, well done

This game is challenging and there are not that many ads to make it annoying.

If you are a Sudoku fan, Killer Sudoku adds another dimension to the game using mathematical “groupings”. This can provide clues to solving puzzles, but also educates users to recognize patterns and discover new approaches to solving tougher challenges!… Some days I am in the mood for a regular Sudoku challenge, and other times I find that launching Killer Sudoku gives me a different kind of game play - this keeps my app experience from becoming “predictable” and I am still playing Sudoku regularly (even after years of pandemic isolation). Thanks! (Update) This app is still enjoyable after several years (since posting my original review). The frequent ad interruptions are something I have gotten used to (sadly an issue with many common apps), but I’m sure other users might enjoy this app more if the ad frequency was toned down somewhat. Thanks.

Too many ads

Piper Tak on

Canada

I’ve been playing for some time now but have decided to uninstall. While the game is fun, there are far too many ads we are forced to watch. The irony is those ads are all for other games that all ask if you’re tired of playing games with too many ads! You only get one free hint per game and if you want another, you have to watch an ad. You might be right in the middle of a streak when you get interrupted to watch an ad. You can’t even start the game until you watch an ad! As I said, one star rating because there are far too many ads. I won’t ever play the games in these ads, just because of how annoying it is to be made to watch their ads. This could be a fun game to play and it should be fun but, too many ads so it’s time to delete this one! So, don’t waste your time unless you enjoy watching 10 to 15 ads per game!

Killer Sudoku addictif

Merci pour ce beau jeu, clair, ludique. Pas trop d’annonce, pas de bugs. Continuez votre beau travail.

Have played this game daily for several years.

Now there just too many ads that interrupt the game and you have to figure out how to get rid of them. Seem to last for a long time. Would have given several stars but now giving it a 2. I’ll miss it!
