Kiln Helper

This is a brilliant app. Really pleased it’s got the kilncare kilns on it and all the bullseye glasses. I used to keep meticulous paper records but this allows me to cut down on paper use, which can only be a good thing. The fact I can store the amount of electricity used, the labour time and cost of materials is an added bonus. Thank you - well worth every penny.

Absolutely love this app. Really easy to use and keep track of projects so you can refer back to. Have been glass fusing for about 3 years now but was never very good at making notes & if I did I could never find them when I needed them. This keeps everything together including materials used & firing schedules as well as adding photos pre, during & post firing. So simple, use every time now.

Very pleased to see this in the App Store and I’m sure it will be well used. Good features and easily programmed to use for projects. Well done!

Great idea and very useful - Jules is amazing at fixing bugs quickly as they are found and adding features. It’s a new app so in its infancy but this is a great way of recording my projects - much quicker than typing up a word document

I’ve just uploaded my project I put in the kiln tonight. What a great little app! Would love if there was a feature to put all the info I’ve entered on to one page in order to print out also, also ability to switch which is the main image, very minor “would like to haves”

Error message ‘sign-up not completed’. Alternatively Apple ID appears to be accepted but app stays on login screen.

I just purchased this and am disappointed. I’m using it on an iPad, maybe that’s the problem, but I don’t have a Mac computer. It asks you to enter a kiln but won’t let you change the manufacturer from Paragon. Strike one. It asks you to enter the glass type but won’t let you change it from Bullseye. Strike two. Not sure if I want to invest any more time here.

The app defaults to mm and Celsius. Yes, you can change mm to inches and Celsius to Fahrenheit when filling out a kiln schedule, but when you get to the other screens, it displays the data in mm and Celsius. Filing out the kiln schedule is also more complex than it needs to be. I shouldn’t have to name each segment unless I want to. Overall it makes keeping track of kiln schedules take longer. Definitely not worth the $2. I’m going back to my paper sheets in my binder.

Great app, allows me to keep track of all my inventory, create and record my firing schedules, keep records of my projects from start to finish and much more.

So far I like the app. Love the fitting schedule graphs! Trying to figure out how to “share” since I want a back up of my projects in case the app crashes or becomes obsolete
