King James Version - KJV Reviews
A lot to like.
After all, it is the greatest book ever inspired. I love slowing it down, the stately British accent in English and easy download for my aged level of tech understanding. My only agitation is not being able to ‘shut-off’ the lady with her “times-up” at the end of some chapters, not all. I must say it startles me, but then I chuckle at the contrast to Alexander’s eloquent reading. And it’s not cluttered with a bunch of time consuming and distracting ads and other features that might be appropriate for a devotional or inspirational interest, tried some others.
Continuing play
Love Scourby reading my beloved KJV. A bit annoying and tedious to have to push a button on my screen after EVERY CHAPTER for 40 plus chapters most days. Continuing sound until I push a button to stop it would be so much better
Doesn’t work
Can’t get feedback from developer. Very disappointed. Never had a problem in years with this app. One day I touched the app and it went back to homepage. Voice won’t go slow anymore either. Weird. Very disappointing.

The Word
I have this app for approximately 5 years. I turn it on and listen and I feel the despair melt away. As I age (76) I have attempted to understand the PROVIDENCE of our GOD. I have also tried to learn humility. Not an easy task all the time. Anger from a stroke consumed me 5 years ago. But, like Nebuchadnezzar, each of us need to understand who created all things, and why we are here. Just know that JESUS, the SAVIOR of all mankind will bring you home.
Bible
This is a great app. I love Alexander Scourby reading. Nobody can read the Bible like him, but the only thing is, it wants to stop instead of doing continuous reading.
KrBbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbkkkkkkllllllll
Awesome
Voices
I used to hear different voices and now I don’t ! What happened to all the different voices? This is my favorite bible app. But I REALLY want the different voices back.
Love it
Thank you. So very much. In hospital with cov19. I can hear Gods word
Good for listening and reading along.
I had been using YouTube to listen and read along with the Scourby rendition but that is no longer available. I’m a huge fan of Scourby’s KJV Bible reading so I have found this app and have begun using it on my iPhone. So far I’ve had zero problems though I’ve seen some complaints in the reviews about some books not loading or no volume in some of the epistles. I’m enjoying it a lot.
