kingbit is a new turn-based multiplayer game that combines elements of chess with innovative mechanics.
In this game classic chess pieces take up multiple cells, have different attack strengths, and different move ranges!
While seemingly complicated the game is actually easy-to-learn and quick-to-play but hard-to-master.
The game can be played ONLINE, versus "The Computer" or in "Tabletop Mode" like a board game.
If you're looking for a game to test your strategic thinking and pass the time, give kingbit a try today!

kingbit FAQ
Is kingbit free?
Yes, kingbit is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is kingbit legit?
✅ The kingbit app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
You can’t attack in the same turn that you move, so the Knight is the only useful piece. Every other piece will get blown up after moving adjacent to an enemy and before you can attack.
The AI just randomly moves and lets you win, while the Online play doesn’t tell you that it’s asynchronous. I was waiting for 10 minutes before realizing my opponent wasn’t going to move any time soon.
This game has no strategic depth and doesn’t try to build the player’s skills. You’re just handed the game with no introduction and have to find your own fun.
Amazing Game. 0 Issues
The app and game are made to be very easy to use and to learn. Easy to pick up and fun to delve into.
Loved the game
I absolutely love this game and only have two critics
1. The computer is to easy and after a couple games it’s super predictable but it is amazing if you have friends you can play with
2. I have a hard time noticing checkmated and it doesn’t help when it doesn’t say anything and it would be worlds better if when your king is in checkmate it would say something
Great Game, but it’s too easy.
At first it was super fun, and very hard to win actually. Although once I gained an understanding of each piece’s capabilities and how they moved it became incredibly easy. I could win against the AI every single time without fail. By moving a pawn out of the way and just rushing the opposing king piece with your knight piece you are basically guaranteed a win. So with that said, if there was a way to increase the difficulty I think it would make the game a lot more enjoyable as players get better.
Overall, great game, great concept, but with anything this early in development, could use improvement.
Growing on me
The textures can start as a headache, but if you read the tutorial, and play for 10-20 minutes, the textures start to be more understandable. Great game, fun gameplay. Can’t wait for 1.1!
Good game
I lost ☹️
My stupid friend is better than me
Good game
Very different from chess but it’s fun I enjoy it definitely not for people that don’t understand chess
Enticing strategy game!
This game is great! I don’t understand why it has star. No bugs, learning curve quickly picks up, even thought it starts pretty rough to understand.
Great! Lots of potential!
I don’t leave reviews, but this deserves it. I love chess and strategy, but this is a cool new concept. The beauty and simplicity of the UI are great! It would be nice to have different icons for better understanding, but without changing the simple vibe and color scheme. I hope more people find this game!
An interesting take on an ancient game
This game is going to be polarizing, and I would be surprised if it ever breaks out of the 3 star rating space. People get touchy over chess, and some are going to rate it one star just because it’s “disrespectful” or some nonsense.
But it’s interesting, unique, and different, and while it has a base “foundation” in chess it’s really completely something new.
Takes a minute to get used to - might be worth adding some more “active” visual elements to pieces - like how many hp remains instead of just reducing max length.
