Changed too much to be fun

hfvytbhyhgf on

This game was so fun in the beginning when it first came out, but much like many games today, it’s just adding random stuff to keep drawing new players instead of keeping to what made the game fun and interesting. long story short: it’s not fun or easy to understand anymore and you get easily overwhelmed.

Glitches to much

Harassment, racism

charlie3647 on

United States

I’ve been playing this game for a few months and was enjoying it and making friends until they merged servers. Now I experience consistent racism, harassment, rumor spreading (yes, people do that on this game) as well as people trying to cancel one another. This game is so far beyond toxic it’s hard to justify playing it at this point. Past the toxic environment that is never addressed by the devs the game is purely pay to win in the form of purchasing stats for your account. “Increased PvP damage” & “increased machine damage” are expensive ones worth noting. This game would be far better under a team that cares past $$$.

Eh

Terrible game don’t play it, the gm’s don’t even play the game and don’t take advice from their customer base, your just stuck with whatever random cash grab they make up on a day to day basis. Just read the gm responses to these reviews, they make excuses and blame the players for their game being extremely unbalanced. They make no actual effort to fix the problems, and none of them play the game yet tell people the game is fine and great.

Pay to play

had the game for 2 years now and i have personally spent well over 700+ dollars on this game at this point. Doesn’t matter because the whales that have spent up to 4-5 figures on this game end up making Alt accounts so they can bully and control all the smaller players as well. The game is very fun and i would be willing to spend more, but at this point whats the point if any action you take causes all the whales to log on to their Alt accounts and bully you off the game.

Festival of Souls or Festival of Sales? A Disappointing Paywall Experience

Combs1775 on

I was really excited when I first saw the "Festival of Souls" event sitting on my screen earlier today. launched. The idea of getting my hands on another Frakenorc, Pumpkin, and/or Skull mask seemed like a great way to get back into the game and enjoy some spooky festivities. These masks looked fantastic and came with various benefits—and if last year's event was anything to go by, I thought they'd be available for everyone, free-to-play and paying players alike. However, my excitement turned to disappointment when I checked the event scoring page and discovered that the only way to earn Festival of Soul tokens, which you need 400 of just to get one mask, was by buying “coronets” from the game’s website and donating them to other players. Not only was this option confusing and lacking any real gameplay engagement, but it also set up an exclusive pay-to-play barrier that just wasn’t there before. Locking a holiday event behind a paywall is disheartening, especially given the fact that these rewards were freely available last year. Events like this should enhance the community experience and provide something for all players to enjoy, regardless of how much they can—or are willing to—spend. Making the entire token-earning process hinge on real-money purchases is a step backward and undermines the spirit of seasonal events. While I understand that developers need ways to monetize, putting the whole event behind a financial barrier feels unfair to the community. The "Festival of Souls" had the potential to be a fun, inclusive celebration but sadly turned into a frustration for those who remember last year’s event or simply can’t justify the paywall.

Not worth the time unless you have nothing but time

finnthehydra on

United States

Unless you can check it and be active for 18-20 hours a day, you’ll be attacked and raided anytime you step away after level 10. This is a game for people who have nothing else to do and money to spend. If you don’t have either of those, you won’t get anywhere. There is an alliance shop where you can buy shields, but you can only get one of each type per week, and it takes more work than it’s worth to buy those.

3 Minute Long Ad

bwguy on

United States

When playing another game, I got stuck watching an ad for THIS game with a 99 second count down timer. Before it was over, I'm sure it was at least 3 minutes. I've never seen anything even close to that before. If an ad can't make want it after 30 seconds, what is another two and a half more minutes going to do?

Yo, that ad was sick I want a tv show or a YouTube series or something
