KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT
Our care recommendations give you peace of mind with age-specific fever and symptom guidance - so you can know when it’s important to take extra precaution or see a doctor.
REMEMBERS FOR YOU
Easily track temperatures, symptoms and medication for everyone in your family! Remember details such as when symptoms began, how high the fever got, or when to give another dose of medication and share it with another caregiver or your doctor. Temperature data integrates seamlessly with HealthKit and the Health app.
WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING
“The app tracks and organizes our family’s temps and symptoms and keeps the history. This is a wonderful app for a busy and sleep deprived mom!”
“Hands down my favorite feature is that the app gives you suggestions on how to keep your little one comfortable and gives practical advice for a speedy recovery!”
“The Kinsa app keeps all my data in one place and makes doctors appointments a breeze…”
“We are a family of 6! Kinsa helps us keep track of everyone’s medical situation!”
“This has to be one of the best products on the market for families, especially families with little ones!”
The free Kinsa app works best with Kinsa's award-winning, pediatrician-recommended QuickCare, QuickScan, and Smart Ear thermometers, available for purchase online and in retail stores across the U.S. If you have an older Smart Stick thermometer that plugs into the headphone jack of your phone, please use the Kinsa Smart Stick app instead.
We hope your family doesn't get sick, but if they do, we'll be there to help your family feel better faster!

Kinsa Reviews

Very easy to use

All I need to do is open the app, turn the thermometer on, and it automatically connects, shows that it is reading the temperature and saves the results.

Great Thermometer!!!

Best thermometer ever. Helps keep track of everyone’s temperature and gives wonderful suggestions. Weather it’s to call the doctor or stay home or give medicine. It’s awesome

Horrible

I buy a thermometer and want to put it in a mouth and read a temperature. I DO NOT want to have to download an app, create an account, give it permission to locate me, get alerts, give it my name, age, gender... STICK IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND READ A TEMPERATURE! A year from now when you go out of business and someone buys one at a discount, they won't be able to do ANYTHING with it when the app leaves the store. Who thought this through? If I could TAKE stars away, I would.

Sick and tired “literally” of removing what works

Please have the option to plug the Kinsa in I have that model and like the way it works. I don’t care for the wireless model and would love to be able to use mine. If it broke don’t fix it.

Great Thermometer but some things could be better

This really is a good thermometer and appears to be accurate, though I haven’t experimented. The only thing is that they should add a function that allows you to add a very specific symptom by you typing it in and adding it to the thermometer reading in the history tab. They don’t have enough symptoms to cover the spectrum of symptoms that could exist.

Would not work

Hardware error- contact support. That’s what I really need when my wife is sick and I need her temp. Thermometer will not work until you get the app and it wants to become your doctor. Way too complicated.

Useless without wifi

eZoOYKRhhOgA on

Lost network connectivity this morning, and when I tried to load this app, it just sat on the loading screen doing nothing. This is a BAD DESIGN. Checking and storing temperature data is a local action, not a network one. Data sync for whatever purpose must be secondary to the primary function — AND NON-BLOCKING OF SAME. I should be able to use this even if I manually turn off wifi. My device(s), my choice. Either fix this with the next app update, or I stop using your app — AND your product — and you permanently lose customers. Clock is ticking…

Disappointed

I have one of the original wired Kinsa thermometers and I’m disappointed that the app no longer seems to recognize the thermometer when it’s plugged in. Doesn’t seem fair for your earliest customers.

Love the app

App is great! It lets me create a profile for each person and I can create a timeline of care, including temperature, meds given, symptoms, etc. it also has reminder alarms and guidance for treatment. Recommend!

Great app! A few suggestions though.

I very abruptly found myself as a mom of a medical mystery. My 5 year old has a mystery illness that required a five day hospital stay, 31 tests, and a follow up with infectious disease. They still don’t know what’s wrong, more than two weeks later. All that to say, the kinsa app has been an INCREDIBLE resource. I can track temps, meds, symptoms, ect. It has taken a bit off of my mental load. Also, because he’s so sick of being messed with, he has started resisting even temp checks but the little animation while the temp is loading makes him giggle. I immediately told my friends and family about it and at least three people have already bought it two days later. The only suggestion I have is that I’d love to write in symptoms. My son has a complex issue going on and I’d like to write the weird ones in over using a note. I’d also like the option of clearing out the tips/follow up questions/ ect. Because of his symptoms the app is constantly telling me to call my dr and that what he’s going through is abnormal. I know this, and am in constant contact with them. I very rarely leave reviews but I LOVE this product. I’d love to see you all come out with other medical devices for kids like BP cuffs, pulse ox, ect. Thank you!
