Kitchen Garden Magazine Reviews

My magazine has not arrived

I have a yearly subscription and haven’t had may or Junes magazines delivered or access on the app

App is hopeless

Love the magazine but app keeps getting stuck, tried to delete and reload in desperation but no joy!

Hard Work!!

I love the magazine and the ability to have the magazine in my pocket for reference, say when out in a garden centre or if at an allotment. However, I’m finding the app hard work. It’s fairly easy to navigate and read, you can zoom in & Bookmark pages, I am also loving The three mudketeers but I’m sure my subscription says I have access to archive copies and I just don’t seem to be able to figure this out!! FAQ don’t cover this and I need to go to a different website to deal with my subscription rather than doing it on the app. Maybe there’s something I’m doing wrong but at 37yrs I don’t think I’m bad with technology and feel this should be made clearer or clearly explained! Being able to completely manage my subscription through the app would be so much better than using a different website!

Love the Zoomability!

I bought this for my mum as it's easier for her to read on the iPad thanks to the zoomability! She loves it - the only downside for me is that it's not as easy to borrow her iPad as it was the magazine!

No point

As a subscriber to the magazine I cannot believe Mortons are going to charge me me £2.90 to download something I have already paid for. Gardeners World allow me to download an issue as a subscriber. I am now cancelling my subscription

Excellent magazine - shame about the apps lack of functionality

This seems to be a exact copy of the magazine so you get all the content exactly as if you had bought the paper copy, it's cheaper as a digital copy and it's an excellent magazine. Unfortunately that's it - I can't cut and paste any interesting articles to save for future reference as you would if you pull the pages out of the paper magazine - you can book mark but have no way of identifying what the book mark refers to, the bookmark just shows you the magazine cover, you have to open the magazine to list the bookmarks for that edition. It would be really useful if the bookmarks could be displayed in a list with a title so you can click on the link and immediately go to the relevant page in the appropriate magazine edition. Also I'm rather surprised to find that I can't apply for any of the offers in the June magazine as the closing date was 7th June (really good range of offers by the way).
