Horrible App
I cannot even create an account, the app will not send me a verification code. I’ve run out of time 5 times waiting for the code but it never arrived
Yes, KitchenBoss is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.

I have only used my sis vide once so far so my review might change over time. My initial response to the actual machine was that it seems very well made and is heavy duty. I had no connection issues at all so far like other reviewers so hopefully that doesn’t change. My first cook was a beef tenderloin. I cooked at 122 and then did a hard sear in the cast iron skillet afterwards. It turned out awesome! My gripe is really with the app. There aren’t nearly enough recipes built into the app. I had a Joule Sous Vide for my first unit and their app was awesome. However after a few years, the device no longer works. Not wanting to spend $250 on another one of that brand I decided to choose a different device. I tried the Annova one and their app was so garbage I didn’t even try the machine out and sent it back. Came across this device and it was on sale for $75 at the time so I tried it out. Unlike the Joule app, the Kitchen Boss app has very few built in recipes. There’s like 10-15 total for meats and that shouldn’t even cover just the beef out there. There should be recipes for different types of cuts (prime rib vs a sirloin will have different cooking requirements). The joule app also asked how thick the cut was and if the meat hit the water thawed or frozen to determine the cook time. It also showed pictures of the different temps of each type of protein and they gave suggestions on what they recommended. The positive is that I can add my own recipes so I can achieve the same thing essentially but it takes some leg work up from. Not the biggest deal in the world but there should be many many more recipes built in to the app. Hopefully they will improve and upgrade at some point but as of right now, for $75 I am please as long as the device has a good longevity.
First, ive had to set up initial account multiple times bc it always says no email found. Then I have to set the device and wifi every time i use it. Dont waste your time setting up detailed recipes w/ cook time and temps because when you select one you programmed, it always changes to the first recipe on the list… not any others so u end up having to cook manual. Very disappointing to spend an extra $40 for wifi enabled that cant be used. No help to be found
Can’t figure out issue with not showing English It shows English everywhere except in item I added. That item- on it it’s English but in this app it is not. Ugh. No way of fixing
