Are you ready to become a morning bird?
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Let’s face it: regular alarms don’t work very well. You just hit the snooze button as many times as you can, then rush for the rest of your morning trying not to be late. What you really need is a coach that will help you build a strong morning routine, and that’s exactly what Kiwake is designed for.

Kiwake will drive you out of bed whether you want it or not! Like any good coach, it will give you a hard time if you don’t follow the rules, but also encourage you when you actually do. The more you stick to your routine, the less annoying it becomes.

HOW IT WORKS
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Kiwake’s mission is to walk you through a brief but complete wake-up process to make sure you woke up:
1. Your Body, by standing up and leaving your bed.
2. Your Brain, by stimulating it and keeping it away from excuses you could find to go back to sleep.
3. Your Motivation, by reading your goals to start your day inspired.

Kiwake will request proof that you went through each of these steps:

■ Body wake-up: take a picture of an object far from your bed to prove you left it. This is an object that you already saved when you have set the alarm.

■ Brain wake-up: complete a quick mini-game that requires your full attention. Keeping your brain busy will stop it from finding excuses to go back to bed.

■ Motivation wake-up: read your main goals and give yourself an incredible motivation boost!

Waste of money

notquitenat on

Australia

I cannot begin to explain my frustration with this app. If I’m gonna pay for this you think it would at least TRY to be an alarm. But I set two for this morning, 15min apart, because I know how this app is and sometimes one of them doesn’t work, but they both didn’t go off and now I’m spending $90 on an Uber cause I’ve missed every train. Don’t waste your money. There’s too many glitches. If you can’t afford to sleep in and you think this app will solve that for you I’m sorry but find something else. This is not it.

Best reminder tool

Heading to Oz on

I’ve been using Kiwake for 4 years now. It is by far the best alarm and reminder app I have ever used. It forces me to wake up and the reminders/alarms throughout the day force me to put things down and pause to be with Jesus. It has been so helpful in many areas of my life.

Doesn’t work

youtubewooootube on

Alarm doesn’t go off even though paid for subscription. Amazing concept and beautifully designed, but simply doesnt work, so what’s the point?

:)

Edit: Previous owners got grandfathered into the subscription and its back to working pretty darn well. Occasional glitches. But happy. Prior: This was a lifeline for years, used it daily/lost without. But now it suddenly costs $22-36 subscription to run! Going sadly back to iOS alarms until I find an affordable alternative.

Great but buggy

Bella G R on

Australia

Love this app - the concept is amazing. But sometimes it will go off when it’s not even on which is very inconvenient - and if you sleep with your phone on do not disturb, the alarm doesn’t work?!? For someone who doesn’t want messages annoying me all night, this is a massive downfall.

It’s good but

It really kills my battery. Can you please update it to not run in the background all the time?

First alarm that keeps me up

MJGodfrey on

Australia

This alarm actually wakes me up and keeps me up. It is the first I have found that does it. I love the photo and puzzle. It has had a couple of glitches and took a bit of time to work out but once you get it working well it's fantastic. It's been a game changer for my routine.
