Klapp - School communication

This app is so bad. Last time they made a change do you really want to send so messages never went to teachers. This time no messages can go to teachers at all. Designed by techies with no user in mind but enforced on all parents by the schools. If schools ever get to choose an alternative please do!

This app is so clunky if it wasn’t mandatory you would not use it. Simple things you expect to be there like spell check are not. There are more clicks than needed, so in the new release it asks you again if you want a notification. This meant my message didn’t send. You or the teacher can’t cancel absences so I had to make one absence request 1 minute when we could fly this not needing the afternoon off school. Crap app.

Unbelievable that the app isn’t made for the daily work of teachers. Not possible to send documents (e.g. pupils reviews), communicate dead lines and more. Seems more like a chat with no additional value: teachers are still being contacted by WhatsApp and other communication channels. Parents with two or more children seems not to understand that every child needs to be treated separately There is no history/archive for the communication with the children. Hence, what’s the purpose of the communication? Why not keep the traces of topics that has been communicated with parents? Very disappointing

The worst school system I ever encountered!

Auch nach dem letzten Update sind die Daten (Nachtichten. Dokumente, alles halt) wenn ich Offline bin, nicht mehr einsehbar. Da ich keine Mobile Daten habe (ja, das gbt es noch) btte ich sie, dies zu reparieren. Danke! Was noch nie funktioniert hat, ist dass das App Icon ungelesene Nachrichten anzeigt als rote Zahl. Schade, da ich so regelmässig Nachrichten zu spät sehe.

Wish the app had better options for communication: I.e. drafts and sent messages saved across devices.

Die App hilft sehr, die vielen Informationen zum Schulalltag im Überblick zu behalten und funktioniert mittlerweile sehr zuverlässig. Hilfreich wäre die Möglichkeit, Text aus Klapp in andere Apps wie Kalender etc. koperien zu können.

Erleichtert uns die Kommunikation mit der Schule sehr. Wir würden uns die Option wünschen, die Mitglieder von Gruppenchats nachträglich bearbeiten zu können.

Ich finde die App macht die Kommunikation mit der Schule einfacher, schneller und übersichtlicher. Nie mehr ohne! Vielen Dank!
