It’s a good game with an interesting premise and fun mechanics, but my god you need to grind. Everything cost upwards of 1000 gold after the starting level and enemy groups will drop 80 or less without buffs.

I arrived at a sewer area during a quest, up to that point, the game had reasonably difficult and fun encounters. I was only one level too weak for the area, which in the past was never an issue, all of the encounters were just slightly harder, but the game sprung an impossible encounter at me immediately with 4 powerful enemies and I was unable to beat it no matter how many times I tried. The game has really good potential, but needs some work on balancing and toning down the monetization and pay to win aspects.

I never write reviews, I’ll start with that. I deleted this game over a year ago because of how frustrating the grinding of this game was. Enemies would wipe my team, so I could only fight one at a time. I would get about 10-15 coins per battle, and weapons costed upwards of 4-5 thousand coins. It was absolutely NOT F2P friendly However, they updated the game a week ago and it stated “rebalancing” My opinion now: this game is SO much better than where it was a year ago. I can have max amount of enemies and wipe them with a 2-3 person team (early game at least). Shop items are slightly cheaper, but coin gain increased MASSIVELY. EXP gain also increased, and damage for characters was buffed. If you see all of the other bad reviews, just keep in mind most of them are outdated now. Give it a shot! I’m so glad I came back to try it again!

I don’t usually write reviews, but for this game I just felt like I had to. I started out a few days ago and have been playing it like crazy. I love dnd and I love the style of this game, the gameplay, the humor, it’s all good and had been for hours now. My biggest issue though, is the difficulty spike once you hit level 10 is INSANE. On previous levels, the fights always felt fair and just fun. It was all about how you played and what gear you’ve gone for and I really enjoyed it, but now for a level 10 I am fighting enemies that will do most of heath bar in no more than 3 hits (usually less from how often they crit) while if I focus on one monster and hit them with all 4 of my parties best moves, their health won’t even be a quarter of the way through. And to make matters worse, it was about this time that I started to get BOMBARDED with deals for pay to win packages. In short, the game was great on lower levels, but once you hit about level 10, it feels pay to win. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone in the state it’s in now.

I REALLY want to be able to enchant the Unique Items you can earn throughout the game like the Tarasque Claw or the Tarasque Scale since they can be equipped in the Hand Slots. Can you PLEASE make this possible?! Also could you PLEASE make it be possible to enchant legendary items you can pull from the chests?

I don’t usually write reviews for games, but I believe this game is one that deserves one most. It’s such a great game with great sprites, and awesome soundtracks. I’m not too far into the game but I already love it. Only thing I find a small problem with is gaining currency but thats not too bad. I haven’t even encountered ads either, best mobile game I have ever seen.

From my time playing, this game gives a lot of the things I want in a mobile dnd game and adds are optional which is always a plus The game is overall very fun, funny with funny dialogues and a cool story, would recommend!

This is a classic franchise, and I used to love Knights of Pen and Paper 1 and 2. You paid once, and got an amazing game. There was even DLC. Now I come back and see they removed the original games from the App Store and replaced them with this “free” pay to win monstrosity? So sad. They took a genuinely great game made with passion and destroyed it. You hate to see it.

I have been waiting for an app like this for a long time. I’ve gone through a lot of time and disappointment. I hope the game continues to be this great as I continue to play. Fingers crossed
