Two knots already asking for money (deleted)

Jrmed on

United States

I get needing money to support the cause but asking for $32 after two knots is a losing business model in my opinion. I say the above as someone who far too often falls for pay apps for before the app hasen proven it’s worth. Too many free options out there to bother paying one app for such a limited product offering.

Meh

$32 a year subscription fee to unlock knots

bleakcabal on

this app requires $32 minimum a year to have access to additional knots. this app is missing very basic and useful knots and hitches. this app also mines data from you. what a scam.

Brain damaging

Mixon5 on

One of the absolute worst knot tying apps in the actual physical realm of existence. It completely screws up proper steps and the diagram cuts off the entire knot, so you never know which end does what. Because of this app I was doing knots entirely wrong. Whoever created is a fool and has zero worth and purpose in life

Sketchy?

bpfox on

United States

I clicked on the continue button and a screen popped up telling me I didn’t have enough memory for photos and videos. It’s a new phone and I have plenty of room. Obviously I didn’t click on it, but what gives?

Full page video ads with audio

App Store Dinesy on

…with no way to change the default audio settings. There are plenty of better knot tying apps out there with animated instructions, larger libraries, no auto-play ads with sound, and that don’t want a whopping $30+ *per year* to remove those obnoxious ads. I’ve had this app for years, and it used to be a lot less annoying. I’m glad they finally gave me a reason to delete it.

Not only do I not like this app I detest it. DO KNOT WAIST YOUR TIME

nxcoco on

All these developers care about is how much money they can get from you. It’s 36 dollars a year subscription for content that doesn’t change. Don’t even think about getting the lite unpaid version unless you want to watch the same stupid sad commercial every time you take the next step in tying a knot Also the directions and content are mediocre at best

App went downhill in the worst way

Mr. Bungle505 on

Used to enjoy this app. Once had 3D step by step animations. Had even paid to have this app. At some point the animations went away and the ads came back. What happened to when paying for an app ads went away?? Am deleting this app and going with something better. At this point anything would be better. Good riddance!
