Knotwords is a minimal and elegant logic puzzle — with words.
The rules are simple: arrange the letters in each section so every word is valid, across and down.
Each puzzle may seem difficult at first — but like all my favorite newspaper puzzles, it gets easier as you progress. Each step guides you naturally towards the solution.
This is the kind of game I've been trying to make my whole career — I'm amazed Jack and I discovered this design. We hope you like it.

One such example, in July’s tricky puzzle #16: Exactest is not a word. And your definitions for clues are wrong, or awkward, most of the time.
July 9: daily classic: Ripes is not a word.
Daily twist: wests is not a word.
One year!
Today I reached one full year of Mini daily puzzles! They are the first thing I do when I pick up my phone before breakfast. ❤️
One if my daily puzzles
Play just about everyday. Love that I can recover my streak on the few days I have missed.
Has some quirks, but I do love it
I have over 700 days playing this game so, obviously, I do enjoy it. However, there is a quirk I wish it would fix. When I have completed a word correctly, and am filling out other squares, I don’t think the program should allow a letter to be inputted in a section where the word is already the correct word. I find it frustrating to think I know the next word only to find that the program has stuck letters where I didn’t want it and now I have to go back and correct what it has done. That’s my major complaint. Otherwise, I do love it, and believe that paying to be able to play the extra games is worth it.
It’s not worth it unless you buy the subcription
There’s a section for the puzzles for then entire month and without buying the subscript you only get 10 of the 30/31 puzzles for the entire month. They also have a daily classic and mini puzzle but some days you have to skip unless you pay. So once the 10 puzzles for the month is done you may get 0-2 puzzles to play a day. I deleted the app after learning this.
June 23 Puzzle
SUCKED. It’s one thing to try to stretch people’s minds; it’s another to show off your own brilliance by including words that NO ONE USES in WAYS NO ONE USES THEM.
Great with some minor annoyances
This game is fun and I keep coming back every day, but there are two annoying things that bother me. One, when selecting a daily puzzle and tapping on the name of the weekday, it highlights the button rather than just opening the puzzle. Every other button in the app requires a single tap, but this one requires two for some strange reason. Second, haptic vibration is enabled without any way to turn it off. I would much prefer to disable this so I can play in silence. Other than those two annoyances, I recommend this game and appreciate the lack of ads and tracking.
Best solo word puzzle -- highly addictive
Previous bugs now finally fixed. New feature to display difference between the official solution and user's alternate solution is really nice. Initial splash screen now displays only the first few times the app is run -- saves time. New features are not documented, so there may be more good stuff to discover.
Thank you for adding a button for original/alternate solution
I wrote in and asked about this feature a few months ago, and am very happy that you had decided to put it in.
Love this game and have been playing it for a couple of years.

Laggy and buggy
About two weeks ago the app began to lag and freeze constantly.
