KORG iWAVESTATION

I bought this on the assumption (so entirely my fault) that it would support AUv3, in the same way that iM1 does. It does not. More fool me. This was a complete waste of money. It sounds great standalone, but I want to use it with other synths and effects and I’m not working with inter-app audio as it’s too unstable.

Come on get with the times make this and the rest of your synths Auv just like you have with iM1

The fabulous iM1 has been updated to AUv3, the iWAVESTATION is a super powerful synth and needs the AUv3 update too. I have spent £hundreds on synth apps over the years, always looking for the ultimate sounding preset, but I always end up coming back to iWAVESTATION because it already has loads of of ultimate presets, it’s a pity I can only use one instance in a Cubasis project

Please add Auv3 support to this and the M1 app .

Crikey, awesome synth , but yes can get deep. Using standalone on an iphone 5s with no hitches. We are spoiled with offerings like this. I think I’ve counted 8 external midi mod sources patchable to numerous destinations for controlling via midi controller, so read the manual !! Using as a rompler for basic piano / organ sounds , but also for evolving pads and keys with character. Bit of a learning curve, even for experienced knob twiddlers. Bravo korg 👍

This, as with all korg synths, is excellent, yet it just needs an update, in particaular there is missing preset sounds. about 5% of presets are missing! please fix!

At last, the full potential of the Wavestation revealed. Just the most enormous lush sounds imaginable. The original team are probably all retired but Domo Arigato for your legacy. So very fortunate to have an SR. One minor point. Import SYSEX but no export ??? Thank you. 😎

I love the app. I think the sounds are great and by using the iPad connected to a Mac I can record it into whatever DAW I like. Maybe not as handy as AUv3 but it works fine. BUT, I’m totally baffled by what my £2.99 in-app purchase actually got me?? No new programs or cards appeared. Before the purchase there were 11 ram cards and 7 expansion cards. After the purchase, exactly the same. So what did my IAP buy me?

All of the kits on card 2 are broken. They were one of the reasons I bought this. Will hold out to see if I get a response and fix before refunding just yet

This is a good synth, and it works in Gadget. Just wish it filled my 11 inch iPad screen in standalone mode.
