I almost didn’t download it due to the bad ratings, but I glad I did. I am using the French version and both the app and speakers are really great. It’s been very helpful for my French !

The app is great! It works as expected. Also the texts are worth the price. They are well written and the transcriptions include useful translations. But the speakers are unbearable. Some more than others. This is not slowly spoken Spanish, but badly spoken Spanish. The phrasing makes no sense. The speakers are smiling at the wrong places. It makes me feel "slow", as in stupid. I'd rather listen to a computer generated voice. Why doesn't News in Slow Spanish hire better speakers? There are so many skilled native speakers out there, who know how to speak slowly and still sound natural. I enjoy listening repeatedly to slowly spoken Spanish podcasts as a tool for improving my Spanish skills. But it works only with speakers who speak well.

Some people here complain that there is no way to create an account. You can create an account at newsinslowspanish for example.

What is the point of an app where you need to have an account, but you can’t create it?

I cannot signup and it only allows for sign in!! I tried also the website but still I can’t signup there...

Used this app for years but now it’s a paid subscription.

I thought this was really fabulous and I don’t know why it’s so hard to get into or impossible for that matter. Why don’t you share it with the world again?

I can’t log in with my old info, nor does it give the option to update my password or sign up again. It’s just a page of uselessness.

This app is no longer working with IOS 18. There is no way to get in or set up an account on the app. I went to the internet website and it now appears to be a paid subscription. Going in on the App Store, there is an assumption that I have a log in and password and no way to create an account. I have used this app for several years and it has Bern very helpful with my language development. I have changed nothing on my devices and had not actually upgraded to iOS 18 on my iPad and the same thing happened. Have you changed the platform?
