Description

"Laika - The Trail of the Golden Bone" is a multi-award-winning game about a mysterious case at the Laika dog park. As dog detective Arthur, the player must find out what happened to the Golden Bone. Ask the different dogs questions, taking into account their personality, feelings, relationships, and motivation. By taking the right approach, the player gains the dogs' trust and obtains valuable clues to solve the case. The game is divided into four consecutive episodes, each focusing on one of the four game characters and their problems.
Laika is an educational detective game that helps young people to better understand the feelings, wishes, and needs of others. The game develops social and empathetic skills in a fun way.
We have also designed the game to be used in the classroom. We have prepared accompanying materials that describe the process and learning objectives in detail.
This includes colorful printouts that can be used to make the lesson even more interactive.

Laika has been developed as part of the ProsocialLearn project to promote prosocial and empathetic skills, funded by the EU (H2020).
The game is recommended for ages 7 and up. Or for younger ages, someone can play along and read aloud.

Ich wollte mir das Spiel ansehen, bevor mein Sohn drangeht, jedoch gibt es leider viele Probleme auf dem IPad Pro. Nach einem Gespräch muss der Ort verlassen werden, da die Gesprächsfunktion dann nicht mehr geht. Karten tauchen auch mal gar nicht auf. Auswahl der Karten schwierig. Schade...
