Many of us find mobile phone screens too small, so we use iPads for many Apps. This should have been considered by the developer. On iPad, the app freezes up.
Never gets past the splash page with the gal’s arms extended to the sky. Who pays for this crap? Isn’t anyone accountable any more? I would have like to rate it zero stars, if given the choice. The App Suppt link to Alosant doesn’t work and the App Store says for iPhone and iPad specifically. Don’t waste your time.
The new LWR app is a great way to easily find new programs happening at the LWR parks, event schedules, and community clubs. Easily enroll in activities with just a simple click, and find local businesses all from an intuitive interface.
Not intuitive or easy to navigate. In 10 years of owning an iPhone I have never downloaded an app so difficult to use. Actually, I have never even reviewed an app but this one is so bad I felt like the developers should know. I cannot figure out how to close out a pop up window (like the rules and regulations for the village lights contest) and so I have to hit the back key. Which logs me out. Every time. There isn’t an obvious sign in page. You have to go to request access (every time) and from there select sign in. The menu is designed in such a way that when opens it takes up the whole screen. Which is fine in theory but when you select a menu option, the screen doesn’t change. So I logged in and out a couple times before I realized that when you scroll down past the menu, the app has actually pulled up what you’ve requested. Just without any outward sign since the viewing screen stays exactly the same. Honestly, the neighborhoods who will the holiday lights contest should pool the winnings and hire an app developer to do an overhaul for this app.
