I am 19 years old and I use this app for myself only. I am not a parent. The only thing I would add would be a drinks section. Thank you for creating this app and the lunchbox app. I love using this app for planning my breakfasts and the lunchbox one for planning my lunches and pool snacks.😺
Sincerely,
Mina Cheetah
Good concept but glitchy and not user-friendly
Okay, I loved the concept. My daughter and I were super excited about creating her breakfast menus. She created them on an ipad for the entire week. Then we tried to look at the grocery list and it is nowhere to be found no matter what we click on. We have been looking for a way to see the grocery list for 1 hour and it always says it's "empty."
Also, I tried syncing to my iphone but only the names/descriptions of the items we added on the ipad show on the iphone but the pictures (which we added from our own photo library) for the most part disappeared, only a couple remained --after all that work!!!
Long story short... this is becoming a lot more frustrating than helpful.

We run pretty consistent schedule of breakfast meals, and the kids are able to get breakfast for themselves. The problem is that they have trouble remembering where any given day appears on the schedule. Problem solved.
So Great!
My youngest especially will not eat until she has planned her breakfast. Our goal is to plan ahead for the week so I can shop and add variety to their life. I get so stuck in a rut if what I think they will eat. They do too. The beautiful pictures of food really help create an appetizing choice of healthy food.
I love that you adjust how many items on each plate and you can take out options of foods. Say its winter and if you find berries in the store they are tasteless and expensive. Just hide the berry option from your kids until next season.
Both the breakfast app and the lunch app are great. I've requested a dinner app from the developer! I definitely do NOT want the apps combined.
My only other request would be that the food data bases are shared with all three apps, like the grocery lists. Each having theses categories : produce, protein, starches, snacks/treats
For example left overs from dinner are a popular breakfast item and 90% of the time my children choose to have their treat for the day after breakfast. We current have treats in the snack category but I don't like the idea of calling a treat a snack.
I love this app!
I love that my kid is totally engaged while we talk about food and nutrition! She loves picking her colors, monster and its so easy for her to select the foods (and add new ones). And its so awesome that it creates a list for the grocery. Thank you for a super helpful app!

I was thrilled to see this because Lala Lunchbox has been such a success in our house. Not only is it great that my kids zero in on healthier food choices but it gets them to be more decisive and the stress level at breakfast time is now zero! How great is it that there is NO fighting over what they want early in the morning! Looking forward to Lala Dinner and Lala Snack.
Fantastic new app!!
My daughter loves this app and it has really made breakfast fun again in our house! Brilliant creation and a lifesaver for busy families!
Thank god for this!
It's not just making lunch that is the bane of all moms' existence. When I try to ask my half comatose son what he wants for breakfast five minutes after I have dragged him out of bed, it is a bit maddening. So thrilled to have something that forces my kids to make the call on breakfast ahead of time and also helps ensure it won't be a nutrition-less few bites of Cheerios.
LOVE LaLa!
My sons are 6 and 8 and we had fallen into a breakfast rut....alternating between pancakes and waffles every morning! Since we've started using LaLa Breakfast, they are eating a much more balanced, nutritious breakfast which often includes eggs and fruit. They love the app...and so do I! It empowers them and results in less battles in the morning and healthier eating! Bring on LaLa Dinner!!!
