I'm usually okay with ads being force-fed to me, but jesus christ it's like every 30 seconds in this game. They've made it impossible to do anything without buying the ad-free version. Shows you how money-hungry they are.

Lamar - a fun game I actually enjoyed
Lamar is one of those phone games that I actually enjoyed. Even though I finished it in about 1 and a half months it was a good time. I liked the art style mixture of realistic cartoon + stylized cartoon. Designers did a good job there. The UI was simple, but it added to the charm. The story was fun, all the new characters that came and went made Lamar’s life very colorful. I liked when his friends started assisting him with his job (by holding his kit). Only one downside is the very end of the game. It feels like it was rushed at the end or the story writers just had 0 idea how to conclude this. Lamar’s and his kit visual upgrades were always the exciting part. I loved seeing stuff around him or on him change, sometimes looking cooler, sometimes nicer, sometimes weird and sometimes just ridiculous. There’s only one thing I expected from these upgrades. When Lamar does his little count-up emote, I expected a higher erudition level to make him count up to 3… Despite its childish look, the game has language that is suitable for a bit older audience. It’s a bit rare to find a game like that with such art style, but the target audience is perhaps 16+. Another little thing I expected to see is a “New Game+”, which restarts the game, but keeps your gold-bought upgrades. Advant Limited. I hope you are already working on another great game!
