Get the most out of your AiM Solo 2, MyChron 5s or GPS enabled GoPro at a race track by connecting it to your phone and downloading sessions. LapSnap is the first mobile app to connect your AiM device directly to your phone, without extra equipment. Just connect, download and analyze.
- Visualize the lines and analyze each lap to see why you’ve been fast or slow in a particular part of the track. You can analyze speed, acceleration or deceleration, gas and brakes application, RPMs, gear change, lean angel for motorcycles, temperatures for Go-Karts, as well as your line on the map.
- Compare your laps with your best lap, ultimate lap or with someone else’s lap to see what you can do to become faster.
- Easy access to each session and each lap. This way you can always refer back to a particular lap.
- Leaderboard. See how you stack up against others racers. Each track has a leaderboard.
- Save your setup. Every session can contain your vehicle settings like suspension setup, gear ratio, tires you use etc. This way when you're coming back to a track, you can refer to the settings you've used the last time and you're not wasting valuable track time finding a setting that works.
- Ultimate Lap. Your laps are divided into sectors. By taking best sectors of different laps we can put together an Ultimate lap. This way you can see what you are capable of if you get every part of you lap just right.

LapSnap FAQ
Is LapSnap free?
Yes, LapSnap is free to download, however it contains in-app purchases or subscription offerings.
Is LapSnap legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
Thanks for the vote
How much does LapSnap cost?
LapSnap has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is USD 53.99.
It is a great app, i have an AIM Solo 2 and an Iphone 12 and works smoothly. I still can't find a closed circuit and had written to Daniil almost two months ago… still waiting though.
It would be awsone (in so many ways) to be able to share one lap using Whatsapp. Maybe only the track part, no all the data.
I an sure better versions will come!!
Impressive but prohibitive
The app rocks. It really was what I was looking for. The UI feels Android~y and can definitely improve, but the app does it job, if, of course, you pay the Pro. Or you otherwise have to settle with one single session upload for ever.
Does not work with AIM Solo2
I really wanted an alternative to have a PC at the track, but this is not it. I could not get it to sync under multiple attempts and options. It’s a waste of time. Don’t try the subscription.
Beta product at best, not worth purchasing
Doesn’t consistently connect to Aim Solo DL 2, takes about 5 minutes to download a single session, and then it hangs when I try to open a downloaded session.
Will keep bringing a laptop and will wait for AIM to come out with their own app (if they ever do)
Does what’s advertised, very poorly
Connected to my Solo 2 DL & after many tries, managed to download a single session. Will
not download additional seasions & keeps loading when refreshed & trying to connect again to the device. Definitely take your laptop to the track, not worth the headache.
AMAZING! Finally mobile analysis of Aim data
Absolutely love that I can avoid bringing my PC with me for data review at the track.
Last update seems to have broken the upload capabilities, I'm unable to load any sessions as my cars aren't showing up when downloading.
Otherwise a total game changer. 🔥🔥🔥
Won’t connect to Home WiFi
I have my desktop connected to my MyChron 5 using my home network (router). The default is for a laptop to connect directly to the MyChron, with it behaving as a server.
This works great for Aim race studio 3, but this app apparently isn’t set up for that. It doesn’t see anything on WiFi.
I really can’t reconfigure the MyChron just to do a test to see if it might work, and I can’t do it on an ongoing basis if it would work. Just not useful for my configuration.
Best mobile app for lap analysis
Now you can analyze your lap times in detail from your AIM solo or GoPro camera. Still needs some minor tweaks, but it’s definitely best offer on market
