It would be great to be able to adjust the volume unit to liters instead of gallons
Update: Still no widgets yet… + When your filter is depleted the app glitches out and can give you over 60 identical notifications in a matter of seconds…. luckily this has happened less and less for me, but it’s getting super sporadic. I like that Apple Health is hooked up, but please add widgets so we can easily view water progress on the lock screen or home screen. Using the Purevis 2 is so so nice! // Pls add the option to use a darkmode theme in the app + Add live interactive widgets pls :) * Also the water logging seems inaccurate. I drank about 9oz of water before midnight yet nothing logged. I took a tiny sip (1oz) of water a few hours later, and it logged 10oz all at once, even though 9oz of that was consumed before midnight + Perhaps have the app auto switch to the next day of tracking once you drink water? currently it logs water on the correct day, but you have to manually move to the next day to few current tracking each day, or force quit the app and reopen
Update: 12.20.2024 It’s mind blowing how there still isn’t a widget for this thing. Do the devs even read the reviews for improvements and ideas? Also, when you devices out of range and they cannot connect, the “+” button to add liquid manually turns into “add device” instead - can you please fix this? It’s one of the most annoying parts of the app. Downgraded to 3 stars until the button is fixed and widgets get added. —— Original: I’ll start off by saying I have plenty of larq products. So far the purevis2 is my favorite, I just wish they had a 40oz version, but I won’t be picky. The app works as intended, I’m still testing to see how the liquid tracking algorithm works, but this app desperately needs a widget, specifically to see your daily progress. As easy as it is to open the app and wait for the sync, it would be much more convenient to have a widget to monitor it from the Home Screen without needing to open the app.
The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 impresses with its innovative UV water purification, keeping water clean and odor-free. Its app-enabled hydration tracking is intuitive, and the detachable handle adds portability. The filter straw enhances versatility, while the double-wall insulation ensures temperature retention. A sleek, functional choice for active lifestyles.
I bought the LARQ bottle because the self cleaning feature sounded great, especially for travel. It’s stylish and definitely useful when you’re not sure about water quality on the go. That said, as an everyday bottle, it falls short for me. It’s heavier than expected, and the bulky filter means it doesn’t hold as much water as I’d like. If you’re someone who values convenience and lightweight options for daily hydration, this probably isn’t it. I think it’s a neat product, but for the price, I’m not sure it’s worth it.
This is a great app to help with tracking of the water filtration and the water you are drinking daily. I use with the purevis 2 and not only does it help with making sure you get the amount of water needed it makes sure it is safe to drink
The app works really well for this bottle. I love that it tracks every sip I take and flashes when it’s time to drink or refill. I love the design and mouthpiece. It’s very convenient that the app notifies you that you need a filter replacement. The self cleaning light is huge. I still have to clean the mouthpiece more frequently, but it’s a nice feature. You can also set a sleep schedule so the bottle doesn’t flash and wake you.
The LARQ app is a fantastic companion for the PureVis 2 bottle. It makes managing the bottle’s UV-C self-cleaning technology a breeze, with easy-to-use controls and helpful reminders to keep your hydration routine on track. The app’s intuitive interface adds a layer of convenience, letting you monitor battery life and customize settings effortlessly. If you love tech that simplifies your life, the LARQ app pairs perfectly with the bottle to ensure your water stays fresh and clean, wherever you are. Highly recommend for anyone who values convenience and innovation!
Really bad a syncing water drinking. Too many times I have to manually add the amount instead of it doing it for me defeating what one of the purposes of the device are. In addition, no ability to adjust the light on the bottle for notifying about hydration, making it a nuisance in public places.
