Will cost you twice as much to be ill informed . Below average service. Go to the source yourself , your not saving . It’s costing you money

Great Location for Footy Fans

Great Location if you like footy, 5 mins walk to Marvel, 5 mins to free tram or train to MCG. They do triple rooms, three single beds if your travelling with mates. Great price for 4 day stay, recommend to all, also if you book, $21 for brekkie downstairs each morning.

I stayed at the Strat for the last 2 nights 26/27th of Feb 2024 … not a very pleasant experience, asked for an up grade and paid an extra 80 per night to get views of aircons / no batteries in any controllers for tvs .. no towel rack in bathrooms and was like south central La … if staying please make sure you go select tower !

Nice stay for reasonable cost. Room wasn’t big but has everything you need. Great block out blinds! Liked the lounge and library areas. Reception great and helpful. Only issue bathroom a bit noisy at night ( It wasn’t us!)

6-Day stay for Anniversay

Highly recommend The Tasman! Checkin was smooth. Hotel was very accommodating with our request for contour pillows and a quiet room for our stay. Although the hotel initially did not have contour pillows, they went out of their way to purchase them which we were impressed! Was pleasantly surprised with the sparkling wine and cake for our anniversary - nice touch! Nice hotel as expected for a boutique hotel that had been renovated! Very good location. As we were unable to have a sit down breakfast due to an early tour. The hotel was able to pack light takeaway breakfasts for us which was appreciated! Thank you The Tasman. We spoke to both Josh and Owen who were very helpful. Nigel and Helena from Sydney.

Not suitable for disability

Unfortunately, despite putting in search parameters for disabled access only. You find out that this can not be guaranteed only after payment, and that you still have to call the hotel to book disabled access rooms. I will not be booking for my disabled parents again through this site. It is something that needs serious change.

Damn bots and automated systems

Terrible app/service and won’t use again. Took money for a booking I cancelled within five minutes of making with hotel after realising they didn’t have the booking I needed and I’d booked wrong type of room. After 2 days of back and forth nonsense with automated messages then finally getting someone on phone talking about not being able to contact property to confirm after I’d just gotten off phone again to property. They finally processed a refund that will take 3-5 days. So for a 5 minute mistake my money gets taken from me for a week 😡😡
