This app is fantastic for what it does. Very simple and easy to use interface, the most robust LaTeX rendering of all flash card apps I’ve tried, and killer when used in combination with chatGPT. For studying math concepts, like certain theorems and definitions, I can screenshot text from an ebook into ChatGPT to generate LaTeX code, then put that code wholesale into this app to generate a flashcard with minimal intervention for formatting. The synergy is incredible. Still need to figure out how to back up the cards to the cloud to avoid accidental deletions but my experience with this app has been great. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves.
This is an amazing app! I love the level and experience aspect as it keeps me wanting to create and learn card sets. While there is LaTeX input where you can type your own formulas, I also love the fact that, instead of the entire text field being LaTeX, you input math using the $$ * $$ sign. If you don’t want to input math, just don’t use the sign. This means that the app is able to be used for ANY type of studying, whether you’re studying math, science, history, word definitions, or anything else. You can also package your sets in a fun QR code so that if anyone else has the app, they can download your sets as well! If there’s something I’d suggest, it would be to add support to have LaTeX on the front side of the card as well, as for now it’s only allowed on the back, and sometimes I want to put problems on the front and answers on the back. As well as this, I’d definitely like to see cloud support, so I never lose my sets or level progress. Overall, this is a great all-purpose app, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a fun way to reimagine flashcards!
